I think none has commented on this little option American Sk8land features on the DS incarnation yet. I´m talking about the Graffiti and Board editor. Sure it´s very limited, but nonetheless it´s lots of fun to do your art and upload it to the site. It´s not that much fun when little kids vote like talibans, praising everything is hiss or from their crew members and bashing everything else though.

Besides this option, I must say that the online component of the game is underhelming, specially the versus mode. However the records and stats is good enough. Too bad the videos are way too short to see what people do beyond the two minutes limit.

Anyone else here creating art in this game?

yeah, from what I saw online was a better implementation than mario kart, but the game doesn't lend itself to multiplayer as well. they should have put horse in really.

DS games need to make a simple lobby system, then I don't have to play against wanker droppers and people that have so much practice they might as well be the AI set ridiculously high.

At least they should have given the option to match up with people of your level. Anyway, even when playing against people with similar skill, the online game feels so lonely it doesn´t seem you are playing online at all.

But I´m all for the other side of the online options. Custom Graffitis and Boards, scoreboards, downloadable goals (even if they are way too easy), downloadable videos (albeit they are not cmplete).

I´m yet to play MKDS, but I hope online feels more like multiplayer than THAS does.

I´m yet to play MKDS, but I hope online feels more like multiplayer than THAS does.

It feels very online, right down to the people with NAZI icons and overabundance of a cheap exploit! Coupled with a bad matching system which means you can't even always play your friends, it's quite an effort to get some good carting in.

The trouble is that when you get the carting in, it is so very very very good that you will put up with the problems. I'm still hoping Nintendo can improve it from the backend somehow.

If only they could be heard by people playing with you... v_v If I took them off, I think the game wouldn´t feel the same.

Doesn´t sound too good. I´ve read some people having these problems every now and then, and people having zero problems. I wonder if those are lucky or too fanboys :lol

I haven't played it in a while. It is good (graphic, music, gameplay), but has too many bugs. I really hope the next one will be more finalized and bugtested (cheats don't unlock, I can't get enough money to buy all warehouse parts, touchscreen acts weird sometimes, cheap exploit, crashes etc.)

The only glitch I´ve had problems with, is the art editor glitch, where a random line will appear every now and then. Very frustrating if you do not realise at the moment :-/
