Does anyone have this yet? I managed to find a site or two that actually has them in stock and it seems the feature set is far superior to the iPod mini. I realize there are larger and in fact cheaper mp3 players out there, but this is a gift for someone who doesn't horde music like myself and fellow GAF members and the 5GB storage space is more then enough.

I was just curious what people who own it think about it so far.

I have heard that the battery life is shorter than advertised, other than that it's seem to be pretty good (from opinions on the internet).

Edit: I don't think many people here own it since people here seem to be 1) Apple Fanboys 2) iRiver Fanboys 3) Have the Touch since it's better value for money :)

You should also look into the Dell Pocket DJ. It's basically a better looking Zen Micro but without the FM tuner, touch pad, and $50 cheaper too.

I don't really like the look of the DJ's in all honesty. 50 dollars cheaper is nice, but if I was really going after space and price, I would have gone with the Zen touch like suggested. However, the person this is a gift for is not a heavy MP3 collector and 5GB is more then enough space for them and the radio is definitely something that will get used and would be sorelely missed if this replaced her AM\FM capable CD player. The ability to record with the built in mic is also a nice touch and could come in handy for lectures provided the teacher actually speaks at a decent speaking volume or she's not sitting too far back in the room. For her, and other comparable smaller players on the market such as the iPod mini, this seems to be the best bang for your buck.

If you want impressions read this 9 page thread (beware they are audiophiles etc they breakdown everything)

I'm on about page 5 now. Thanks again for the link.
