I gave the same advice I gave here to some crazy Apple fan who had no clue about investment but was bound and determined to put several thousand dollars into AAPL because wow shiny toys.
Got some shit over it when the thing shot up a million percent, but I stand by that advice. If you don't know anything about investing, you shouldn't be putting a bunch of money you can't afford to lose into a single-company stock just because you're a fan of the company.
