Creepiest thing you ever experienced?

Still creeps me out that I almost started a relationship with a murderer. I worked at a gas station and these two sisters would come in from time to time. One of them had a kid and was a single mother. The other sister took a liking to me. They were both very nice. In fact the sister who liked me would bring me food to eat when on my shift. I figured hey, she’s kind of cute and really nice, so we go out on a date. Pretty standard date, nothing big, and the night ends well, with plans to see each other again.
Couple days later I learn her and her sister hammered a social worker to death in her sisters house and dumped the body. Apparently the social worker was threatening to take the kid away. Supposedly, after bludgeoning the woman to death and dumping her body, they casually went to dinner at their parents house like nothing happened. This lead to a call for action in social worker reform in Michigan. I’m glad things didn’t get farther than that first date, let me tell you.

WILD method of lucid dream induction

I have those every now & then when I doze off. I wake up completely disoriented afterwards.

In fact the majority of my dreams/memories are lucid & in third person or mixed which I always thought was normal?

When I was very young, I was sleeping on the couch for whatever reason, and I swear I saw, over in the kitchen, the shadow of a man in a long cloak, top hat, and what could have been a plague doctor mask. It was terrifying, couldn't sleep the entire night.

Yikes.
I just looked up this story online.
That's pretty crazy.

So back in college a buddy of mine was having a hard time finding gals. I was busy setting up a party for another friend and told him he should stop by later when things were happening. Party is going in full effect and then my friend shows up with a gal I've never seen before and is gone before I really get to talk to him. I think good for him and not another thought was had on that matter. Didn't see the girl again and my buddy wouldn't talk about her.

Then a few weeks had past and my girlfriend at the time wanted to go get some ice cream at the retro drive up. I was down so we went and got some treats. It was getting late so we headed back to my place.

My old apartment building had a parking lot in the rear of the building and below the street level. I drove down to my spot and I notice a car pull in behind me and stop on the ramp coming down the side of the building. Strange, but whatever. We take our time getting to the rear door when the car that I saw pulled up near the door. I looked over and there was the girl my buddy brought to the party.

She looks at us and says, " What are you guys doing."

I'm not sure why she is here and talking to me, but whatever I start to answer, "Nothing much."

She mumbles something into the back of her car and then looks back at me and says, "Eating Ice cream." Now at this point my girlfriend and I both have no evidence on us that we just got ice cream so we are kinda weirded out by that. Then she looks in the back and screams, "SHUT UP!" Now I'm a little put off and not sure what the hell is going on. She can tell I'm thinking lets book it the hell out of here cause she says, "Oh your buddy is back here." He wasn't a big prankster type, but I'll admit I was thinking oh you got me. I tilt my head to see the back seat and there is nothing there. Now I'm thinking this gal followed us the to ice cream joint and followed us back and I'm done. I quickly open the locked door and get my girl inside and me behind.

I still don't know what was going on. My friend said he only saw that girl the one night and swears he had no part in this.

That's pretty crazy.

Sure blew my mind, let me tell you. If anyone told me they were capable of that before it happened, I would have told them they were crazy. Its amazing how you really never know someone and what's going on in their head(s).

I wouldn't have guessed such scary or potentially life-threatening things had happened to quite a few people here.

I guess the creepiest thing that happened to me was when I was around 8. My friend and I were asked to feed the pets of a family that went on vacation. We used a key to get in the house and put out clean water and fresh food for the cat, then we tried to catch the cat and bring it to the food. I chased it to the bottom of the stairs by the front door and it ran up the stairs and around the corner, and then I heard a little girl's voice say "Maddie, help" from around that corner (Maddie is my friend's sister's name). My friend heard it too, and we just looked at each other and ran back to his house. I don't know what it was, and I sometimes still wonder; it wasn't a doll, and the doors had been locked, so we were alone there.

I had a stalker at gamescom this year. Creepy ginger german guy followed me everywhere tapping my shoulder and laughing to himself constantly.

Imagining this

I went to a nightclub with my very shy and inexperienced male friend, I think it was his first ever time in a night club.

He bumps into an old female school friend, that he has known for years. They have a very brief exchange, it was friendly but not flirty in any way, it was clear she was just being nice... she goes to say goodbye and moves in to kiss him on the cheek (which is fairly common between friends in Europe), he gets confused... thinks she's moving in for a proper kiss... lunges at her with his mouth open... realizes his mistake at the very last moment and tries to recover but ends up licking her fucking cheek.

Our friends and her friends stood there in a stunned circle in what was the most awkward 10-15 seconds of my life.

EDIT: Are we talking about creepy, as in "Scary". oh well.

My neighbours are currently on bail for murder of their two year old daughter, that's kinda creepy considering I used to talk with them all the time

I had just moved into a new place. Renting a room in the basement from a family. There was a rocking chair in the corner, and at night, every few days I would wake up in the middle of the night and it would be rocking.

amgawd spooky, demonic forces must be at work and somehow stopping you from moving out out the room!

I bashed the shit out of a spider with a plastic bottle an hour ago. Just went back into the bathroom and saw that it's body has vanished. I guess it's all over for me.

My parents told me, that in the 80s when my sister and I were very small children, they got a call at like 2:00 am.

My dad picks up the phone and the voice of person sounded like it was on helium. The voice asks my dad. "Do you know where your children are?" My dad responds "yes, they are in their beds asleep." The voice responds "No they're not, check again."

My dad got concerned and went to our rooms and we were sound asleep in our beds. My dad goes back to the phone angry. He tells the man on the other line,"They are in their beds just like I told you!" The voice on the other line responded "What?!!!" And slammed the phone to hang up.

His response took my dad by surprise and he decided to check around the house. He goes to the living room and the front door was wide open. Someone came in the house to kidnap my sister and I but something stopped him. My dad believes an angel protected us.

This is horrifying

My gf at the time lived 80km away and her parents did not know about us nor would they have approved. So when i went to her birthday party which she held at a club (her parents werent there obviously) it meant that i had to go home at around 3, there was no other option.

So most of my trip was uneventful, creepy people in the trains, but nothing out of the ordinary. This train stopped some 4km away from my house, so i had to walk, nothing was really going on, it was eerily quite, saw no cars at all, the wind wasent even blowing. So just i am about to make a turn i see a red car with black windows standing still at the same corner i have to make a turn. It looked turned off but the windows and the fact that i could not see whether anyone was in it creeped me out.

But there was no way to go around it, and it was now 4 something, i was fucking tired. As i walked past it, i turned off my music and i was practically expecting someone to jump out. Nothing happened, i kept walking, always looking behind for the red car. Just as i thought it was over, it turned on and it started to go right but i could see it was turning around! So i simply went into the bushes and ran for it.

The last km or two i had to walk, i was super careful, stuck to the shadows and basically walked through peoples yards instead of the road in case the car appeared.

I took an overdose of an anti depressant, mirtazapine, and started tripping out big time. The following happened:

- Loud crashing noises
- Clock on the wall was moving back and forth
- Could hear a music box being played upstairs. Fucking creepy music. When i went to check, there was nothing but then lots of screaming from downstairs
- People knocking on the door, hiding outside. No one was there, all in my mind.

Fuuuck

Also, vivid images and visions when I closed my eyes, running fast as hell, nightmarish images, couldnt lie down or sleep as my leg was uncomfortable to the point I wanted it cut off

Just last week there was this thing outside my window.

I was in bed, looking at the window and there it was, some shadowy figure, it was fucking scary.

I couldn't get up or anything.

I went to Target with some friends and I went to the bathroom while they waited. I was by myself in there. I finished my piss and as I'm going to the sink to wash my hands some dude walks in and goes to one of the urinals. As I'm washing my hands, he either didn't start pissing or he finished awfully quickly, turns around and approaches me. He got way too close and asked me if I have any change for gas. As he was approaching me I literally thought "this guy is gonna kill me". I told him "I don't carry cash". He responds "oh, you don't?" I said "no". That's actually true (I don't carry cash often) and I didn't want to give him money anyway. Needless to say, I immediately left the bathroom, got my friends and we left the store.

This is just happened last night.
Me and my little brother share a room. He was already asleep. Lights are turned off in the room. While playing dota, I noticed the bed some noises but i didnt bother maybe it was just brother.
Then i turned on the lights. I noticed the bed was moved from it's original place. I was thinking maybe it was my brother, but considering the distance moved. It was impsossible that it was my brother. So it must be someone who moved it.

This isn't creepy in a paranormal sense or anything, but still worth telling I hope. I remember very little of this as it's a long time ago, but it's a story both my brother and my parents bring up from time to time. I was 10 or 11 at the time, and my brother was 18. My parents went abroad to visit some relatives for a long weekend, and me and my brother stayed home. My brother was supposed to stay home to watch over me, but he just bought me some pizza and rented a couple of videos for me so I wouldn't tell our parents he was going to a party. Anyway, I do what every kid would do in that situation: I stay up way too late watching horror movies, making a big mess in the living room and falling asleep on the couch. I wake up the next morning, notice the kitchen is a bit of a mess but don't think much of it because I figured my brother must have done it when he came home. I think I might have gone to my room to sleep some more, but at some point I went out to hang out with my neighbors. Came back at dinner time, helped my brother clean up, ate dinner with him and a couple of hours later my parents came home, absolutely out of their mind with worry. We only found out why a little bit later. Apparently, while I was sleeping in the living room (my brother only came home in the afternoon, he ended up being too drunk to go home during the night), someone smashed in a window near our back door, trashed some rooms and stole some jewelry from my parents room. My brother and me both assumed one of us must have made that mess without thinking about it (none of us saw our parents room, which was the messiest of all). We still don't know if whoever broke in came into the living room where I was sleeping. We assume he did - it's more logical to look there first before moving on to the rooms upstairs - so we're lucky the guy wasn't in a killing/molesting mood.

The weirdest thing about this, the thing that separates it from a normal break-in, is the fact that the gate to our garden was gone as well (which is what my parents noticed when they came back, and why they were so worried). This was a big, heavy, iron gate - you'd need at least two people to pull it out of the ground, and you'd need a pretty big van to move it without breaking it apart on the spot. It doesn't seem like something that could have been done quickly. It's a pretty nice, quiet neighbourhood too, with a lot of houses close together so there was a lot of risk of neighbours noticing the noise.

Don't know if this story is interesting/creepy enough for this thread, but it still weirds me out. I assume they must have found me before they decided to continue looting the place, so they must have had a lot of guts to go to town on our house like that.

Jesus! This probably isn't creepy or anything, but Jesus Christ it scared me.

This literally just happened. I was browsing GAF and listening to some music with my headphones on as I decide to go to bed. I unplug my headphones and close the lid of the laptop (putting it in sleep mode, it's a MacBook). So I get ready for bed, brush my teeth etc and about 10 minutes later while I'm lying in my bed, in the dark, reading this thread on my phone I can hear the hard drive making noises. At first I don't really realize it, but then that loud Mac boot up chime sounds. It scared the shit out of me! I literally have no idea why it did this. I didn't turn it off or restart it, and it just happened so randomly. Christ!

This has never happened before and I did what I always do when I'm done using it - putting it in sleep mode!

Spooky. Cut the angels bit and you've got a good story.

I'm digging some of these stories. Some seem made up, but that's fine for me because I'm looking for some solid entertainment here.

That loud, boot up sound was your momma.

This gave me chills, damn scary.

I visit people after they get out of the hospital, I've encountered 6 dead bodies so far. I usually show up one to two weeks after discharge. The smell gives it away every time.

A worked for a health systems company that sent out nurses to visit stay at home patients. I heard similar stories every few months. Creepy and depressing, to pass away like that.

I once got trapped in a cycle of dreams. Almost had to snap my neck just to bring me out of that state, and even when I woke up I was so scared by the incident I still wasn't sure if I was really awake. Had one of the worst headaches of my life as well.

"Trapped" as in impossible to wake up?

How do you know you're not still stuck?

I've read every single story in this thread, a lot of interesting reads out there.

I could probably read this thread for days if it had unlimited pages.

I grew up in a small, rural Southern town. My friend Tyler lived on the outskirts of town. About a half mile behind his house, on the other side of some woods, was an old house that all of us kids just knew was haunted. It was a two story dilapidated wooden structure in the middle of nowhere that had been abandoned for nearly forty years and was caving in on itself. Naturally, one night while I was spending the night at Tyler's house (we were about 12 years old), we decided to go explore it.

We waited until his dad and step-mom left to go to a party, then started making our way through the woods. There was a nearly-full moon and we didn't want anyone to see us (after all, we were trespassing on other people's property), so we kept our flashlights off and made our way through the woods until we reached the clearing where the house stood.

We carefully entered the house, taking care to watch where we stepped lest we wind up falling through the floor. We poked around for a while, but didn't find anything other than bird nests. We wanted to go up and look around the second floor, but the staircase had long since rotted away and we couldn't find another way up there.

We walked outside and started back towards the woods. Tyler, who was walking a few steps ahead of me, turned around to look back at the house and suddenly froze, eyes wide as dinner plates. Seeing this, I turned to see what he was looking at.

Through the windows of the second story rooms, we could see a flickering light moving around, almost like someone was walking holding a candle... The second story where nobody could possibly reach.

All at once, the light stopped moving and vanished. Tyler and I turned on our flashlights and ran back through the woods to his house so fast I'm surprised we didn't live Back to the Future-style fire trails.

One more that I just remembered. This isn't generally creepy, but more creepy to me.

In my tiny, rural hometown, there was an old civil defense siren on top of city hall. These sirens were originally built as part of an air raid warning system during World War II, to warn people in the event of Axis bombing raids. During the Cold War, they served the same purpose, but for possible Soviet bombings and nuclear attack. However, my town developed another use for them: every day at noon sharp, the siren would sound. It was kind of like a city-wide bell tower, letting everyone (including farmers in their fields on the outskirts of town) know when the clock hit 12:00. So, even though I knew what the sirens were originally built for, I got so used to hearing them in the "noon alarm" context that I didn't even think of their original purpose for years.

I'm a history buff, and in particular I've always been fascinated by the Cold War. Probably a side effect of being born in the mid-80's. One of the concepts of the Cold War I found most interesting was MAD, or Mutually Assured Destruction: neither the U.S. or Soviets could attack each other, because it would ultimately lead to a nuclear war that would wipe out everyone. So, over the years I devoured more books, articles and documentaries on nuclear war than I can count.

One night while I was in high school, I was woken in the middle of the night by a huge thunderclap. There was a terrible storm with constant thunder. I figured I wouldn't be able to get back to sleep for a while, so I went into the kitchen to get something to drink. As I was filling my glass, I heard a strange sound in the distance. Between my grogginess and the sound of the storm, it was hard to hear, so I went over to the window and pressed my ear to the glass.

It was the air raid siren.

For the first time in my life, I was hearing the siren at some time other than noon. I quickly flashed back to all the stuff I'd read about the Cold War, remembered what the sirens were originally built for, and suddenly knew (and I mean KNEW) that World War III had started and that Russian nukes were on the way. It was the end. Me, my family, my friends, everyone... We were all dead.

I ran to the TV and turned it on to confirm the news. Instead of the panicked news anchor I was expecting, however, I saw the local weatherman reporting that a tornado had touched down on the edge of town. I realized that that's why the siren was sounding; to warn people of the twister, not of incoming nukes. It only lasted a minute or so, but I was absolutely terrified.

Years ago at a job I've long since quit, I was working Halloween night. I left work for the night and it had just turned dark outside. I'm walking through the parking lot to my car and there is a black cat on top of my car just chillin'. I scared it away and laughed it off, but a coworker saw it also and was convinced I was going to crash my car on the way home or something.

I have a few but one has stuck with me for a long time.

This was circa 2000-2001, I'm not exactly sure but I remember this was before everyone had cell phones. My brother and I would stay home during the summer and play video games, sports the usual. My mom being a mom would typically call us once a day to make sure we didn't burn down the house I guess.

One day I hear the house phone ring but couldn't get to it in time for whatever reason so said forget it and I'll check the answering machine in a minute. Our answering machine was the type where you could hear the person leaving the message while it was recording. So I swear I hear my mom's voice and decide to go check the message in case its something serious. It turns out to just be a random telemarketer but as I'm listening to the message it sounds like the saleswoman believes someone is on the line from our end mid way though her sales pitch. As I play it back again I can hear a crackling sound at the moment the saleswoman thinks someone answers. I can't quite make it out but I can definitely hear a muffled voice too at the same time, so I decide to turn the volume up full blast and replay the recording. Well, this time I was able to make out the voice and it says in what i can only describe as an evil voice "Keep Away" "Keep Away".

I don't believe is was anything paranormal and our phone probably just picked up random static from the neighborhood, but it didn't make it any easier to sleep that night.

Yep, old time phones and electronics had some weird interference problems. This was between 1987 and 1989, my brother and I were in our parent's room watching an movie named The Wraith. We were also recording it on a VCR at the same time. We had a wireless phone at the time.

My sister called, and her audio came through the TV, but not my mother's replies. My brother and I looked at each other like "what the fuuuuck", and once we realized what we were listening to started laughing. My sister's voice was even on the recording and we'd hear it every time we watched the movie after that.

Another time I was using a friend's home a few years later to call home. SOme stranger randomly popped on the line, confused. The three of us (my mother, the stranger, and myself) all started talking. The man thought we were somehow messing around on his home phone, and began threatening us if he found us.

Phones used to be crazy.

That is pretty creepy, btw nice to see a fellow Gator on GAF.

Another story I remembered. I use to work at a grocery store, and we had this one customer that would come in an electric wheelchair (he had been hit by a truck while riding a motorcycle). He had befriended most of the store, and I usually would talk with him. We became friends and I would help him out every once in a while. He had a nice house down to road, and asked me to help him out with stuff around the house. Anyways, he lived on his own, and said he couldn't accept any sort of payed help because the state would use that against him and take him house away, and put him in a home... or something along those lines. He would say that people would spy on him and that they would even go into his house, even as far as to spy on him through the air vents (he had a ac vent above his bed). Needless to say, I question all this.

So to get to the creepy part, the guy would always enter his house through his garage, never through his front door. One night, we're hanging out on his porch and I turn the doorknob to his front door, and it opened the door. It sent chills through me, at that point I had to believe him at some point. I had been in his house before, and even tried to open the door from the inside, and he always kept it locked. the dude even had like three locks on it. I don't think he was fucking with me, and that's why I was instantly freaked out about the door being unlocked.

I remember a couple months back me and my girlfriend went out on a vacation to long beach. We decided to stay at the queen Mary. Supposedly its haunted but stuff like that doesn't really freak me out. So anyway we went out that night got home around 2ish and knocked out. All I remember is waking up around 3:10am (I always randomly wake up at this time, idk why) and I noticed I was in sleep paralysis. I somehow picked up my head and I saw this little girl kinda like the grudge wearing a white gown and had long black hair. It was staring right into the wall and I couldn't see her face. I tried calling out for my gf (to see if I was trippin out or if she could see it too) but due to the paralysis I couldn't, nor could I wake her up with my hand. All I did was say fuck it and fell back to sleep. Lol.

I was once walking home from school and passed a small residential area and saw a £10 note lying on the floor. I decided not to pick it up as I don't believe it is moral to do so as someone else may be looking for that money and it is not mine and I was worried someone would see me do it. I walked to the end of the road and saw what looked like an old neighbor (I used to live there) pick it up and I thought nothing of it. A week later I read in the crappy local newspaper that he had been killed in a car crash a few days later but the weirdest part was that I only ever use my debit card to pay for things and thats all there is in my wallet and about 2 weeks after he died I found a £10 pound note in my wallet, that creeped me the fuck out.

A couple of weeks ago I walked out of my house and every single star in the sky was blinking super fast. To make sure I wasn't going crazy, I asked my mom if she was seeing it too and she indeed did. I thought the world was gonna end or something.

I was listening to the song "Alien" by Erasure on the computer and had those old colorful motion thingies going on in the background(not sure which one it was) for psychedelic effect or whatnot. I had to get up so I paused the song and the image that was frozen looked like a typical grey alien. I was like what? I tried to play the song over and pause it at the same time with the same light show thingy selected and that image of the Grey was not there.

when I was younger, I used to have one of those educational laptops which let you play spelling games, hangman and a bunch of other games... anyway, it ended up in the basement and was there for like 10 years. Last year, I'm sitting in my parent's place and suddenly I hear 'choose your level' 'level 5' 'bye!' etc. coming out of the basement. I immediately recognized it being the laptop. It eventually stopped and I told my mother about it. A couple of days later, she told me she heard it too and went to the basement to find it. She eventually found it, but there were no batteries in it. I still have no idea how that thing could've start working again after all these years, out of itself, with no batteries in it.

I once got trapped in a cycle of dreams. Almost had to snap my neck just to bring me out of that state, and even when I woke up I was so scared by the incident I still wasn't sure if I was really awake. Had one of the worst headaches of my life as well.

Can you tell more on this. I had a similar experience in where I was dreaming it was crucial I had to go somewhere with someone and If I didn't, I was fucked for whatever reason - usual dream logic. I end up falling asleep in the dream and wind up in basically the same dream, same location and I'm looking for the person I'm supposed to be going with and I figure I'll wait for them and go to sleep again only to end up in the same dream again. This time, I'm looking for said a person and run in to someone who tells me that they've gone, you've missed your chance - you fucked up.

Now, in a panic, I'm running around this small area trying to find this person, thinking they can't have left without me. Being a small place, there weren't many places they could have been. It got too much and I wake up in the same place, relieved that it was just a dream and that they haven't left only to find to find out once again, they have. From there I end up in a loop of waking up in the same dream and going through the same shit, until I finally wake up.

I've had sleep paralysis four or five times, the first two times were scary as shit because I didn't know what the fuck was happening, just had to break out of it. Never had any creepy imagery going on. Also woke not being able to breathe a few times, which I think has a name. called sleep apnea.

Had a dream after playing the P.T. demo that I was being risen from my bed, I figured by some entity and started being thrown around. Weird thing is, once I'd hit a wall and felt no impact, I started enjoying it and I woke from it in sleep paralysis...

Edit: Great thread.

I had something wimilar but with the WWF talking stage thing.

The idea of it is that it sets off when a chip on the bottom of a figure passed over it and it'd start their intro theme/quotes. I kept hearing this weird music every once in a while from somewhere in my room and I didn't know what the hell it was and it wasn't until I checked under my bed that I saw the stage thing was there. There was still batteries in it and even though none of the figures were there it kept setting itself off.

I took the batteries out and it never did it again, but I imagine it was a malfunction or dust on it confusing the circuitry or something.

-when I was in 2nd grade, for whatever reason I looked through my bedroom blinds to find this pair of eyes that where intense green behind the window. Must have been a cat, but I've had cats before that and I'd never seen eyes like that.

Eugh, this really creeps me out. Kinda reminds me of that scene from Suspiria.

Some fascinating/horrifying stories in this thread. I've had a few spooky experiences but the worst was during sleep paralysis getting sort of raped. Haven't had anything bad happen for the last year or so, so that's good.

Last week I experienced my first ever seizure. Not so much as creepy but scary. Was holding onto a gatepost violently shaking/spasming. And I don't remember this bit, but my friend who was with me said that I was mumbling "I don't know what's happening" as I was shaking. Blacked out and then woke up on the floor covered in mud, pale-faced and sweating buckets.

This happened way back when I was in the Boy Scouts

It was summer and my parents always wanted me to go to the summer camps they had for troops. Each year it would be a different location and this year, being the third time, was at a place called Ockanickon (Must be some Native American name).

When I arrived there, the place looked quite new and the campus was quite expansive having multiple buildings spread out. At the center of the campus was a totem pole. Apparently from what I have heard, it's been there forever and this place was built around it. It looked like your average totem pole except on the back of the top head was a red spot. From what I was told, if you happen to see it turn green, an entity called the Ockanickon demon comes after you and curses or kills you.

Of course, being a young boy, I believed in this shit and decided to behave not to piss off this malevolent spirit. Every day I would check the totem pole to make sure the spot was red. From what I have heard, the demon in appearance is only seen having two massive green eyes that follow you, the rest of the body can't be seen. A friend of mine told me he saw the entire creatures body and he said it looked human, but he could have been just pulling my leg.

Anyway, there is always that one kid in the troop that misbehaves and act like a complete asshole. After dinner, he said you was going to defile the totem pole in some way. Of course the lot of us tell him no and he seemingly goes back to our camp site.

The next morning, I noticed some of the scouts getting sick. The boy I mentioned before excitingly told us he went up the the totem pole and carved his name and then pissed on it.
I felt like telling the counselors, but I just figured it wouldn't have been a big deal. Later that night, there was a competition where scouts and the adults had fun in these tournaments. while I was watching, I noticed the sky getting darker and large clouds surrounding the area. As a guy who studied weather, these were incredibly large storm clouds and was getting nervous since I never liked sleeping in a tent in this kind of weather. The rain started coming in and were told to go back to our sites for the night.

The thunder was loud enough to make the ground shake and the sound of the heavy rain kept me up from sleeping. There was also some flooding outside as well and I saw rivers going under my tent.
It took forever for me to sleep but the next morning, something strange has happened. About nine out of ten percent of the people there were sick and we were asked to go home early. The bus came and I left and thought it was strange that after that boy defiled the totem pole, people started getting sick and the large storm that hit last night.

Thankfully, I didn't see the demon but did he curse us that night?

I remember going upstairs in my house once, in the middle of the night, and being confronted by a cat sitting on the overhang of my kitchen window. The problem was that (a) I'd never seen this cat before in my neighbourhood, and (b) its position and the way it was facing on the window were impossible to access normally without an extreme leap of faith (an entire storey's height) or leaping from a nearby clothesline to the window.

It stood watching me for a couple minutes as I got a drink of water, then leapt away when I got close to the window. Never saw it again.
