Wait a minute, did you really ask an invisible skeleton spirit thingy to touch your boobs?
Yes haha. I honestly thought she was joking around so I wanted to take the pee. I also insulted the skeleton's mom because I thought it would be funny. Then it got too scary so I shut up :')
I'm pretty sure that's not the expression...
Damn, never heard of a skeleton type ghost talking to someone. Pretty creepy.I've only ever had one major freaky thing happen to me and I don't like to talk about it because it sounds so stupid and people will probably troll me or something but it affected me a lot...

I've only ever had one major freaky thing happen to me and I don't like to talk about it because it sounds so stupid and people will probably troll me or something but it affected me a lot...
So I was staying at my friends house, we were about 16, and we just got into bed at about 11pm. She was lying facing the door and after about 5 minutes she sat upright and said, "why is there a skeleton on the door?" I looked over and didn't see anything, but she had one of those canvas shoe holders so I assumed there was a toy skeleton in one of the pockets. She told me no, and that there was an actual skeleton by the door. So I was like, "that's a load of BS, what are you talking about?". She isn't the kind of person who makes up stuff at all, so I thought it was weird but dismissed it. Then she started talking to it :/ and I was starting to get freaked out. Apparently the skeleton was called Dave (stupid I know), and that he was my guardian. I didn't know anyone called Dave who had died or anything, and I started making jokes, to which the skeleton supposedly started walking toward me. She asked it to sit on the bed next to me, and honestly, the air went freezing cold, but went to normal temperature right above where the skeleton was apparently sitting. I was freaked out but still doubting, so as a joke I asked her to tell it to touch my boob and I felt an ice cold hand. The skeleton moved back to the door and the bed went to normal temperature again. At one point, it was stood in front of a poster, and I thought I saw the face on the poster turn into a skeleton (but this could just have been my imagination). I had a rock next to me which I had drawn a smiley face on, and the skeleton was apparently scared of it because it had hollow eyes, and it didn't like anything else with hollow eyes, so I hid the rock. My friend was talking to the skeleton so I asked her to tell me how it knew me, and she said it was my next-door neighbour in the first house I lived in. I had no idea who my neighbour was because I moved from that house when I was 4 or 5 (so I couldn't have told her anything about them). We didn't get to sleep till 5 in the morning because the skeleton wouldn't leave until he knew I was safe, and I was crying all night cause I was so freaked out. The next morning the skeleton had apparently gone, and my friend never saw him again (despite sleepovers since). Now the freakiest thing is that I went home the next day and asked my mom about my neighbour where I used to live (which was in Witton, Birmingham, UK) and apparently our next door neighbour was an indian guy called Davith, who called himself Dave. Safe to say I'm freaked out for life :/
Two things:
Spiral Rainbow - Our family saw this on the way back from a vacation trip in the early 90's. My father posted something about on a crude message board way back when. No one ever replied to it, and I want to say we have a picture of it somewhere buried at their house.
Ball Lightning/Flash - I was driving in the backwoods late one night home and recall a huge flash that took up the sky in that flowed as if it were in a 'ball' form. Now, I know ball lightning can exist, but the night was completely clear.
... I was probably abducted :\
While I was going to college in Austin Texas I knew some friends that worked in a famous hotel downtown. Its called the Driskill and is one of the first hotels ever built in Austin with a very rich history(Wikipedia it.) Anyways , this place was really creepy with old fashioned decorations, huge paintings of portraits, native american artwork, etc. Legend has it that the place was built with numerous secret rooms and passageways which have not been discovered to this day. Apparantly people have gotten lost and died in some of these passageways over the years and their ghosts haunt the hotel.
Now my friends who worked would tell me stories about going to the bathroom and feeling that someone was watching them, strange footstep noises in rooms that weren't occupied and at midnight many of the lights in the hotel will flicker for no apparent reason. They had the wiring and everythibgbchecked out fine
Were you missing time or blacked out or anything?
I'm right behind you.Ok, here's a strange thing that just happened about 20 minutes ago.
Doorbell rang, I was in my room so I went to answer the door. As I was walking to the door I thought I saw a person in bright orange or red with a baseball cap on heading toward my backyard (you would walk past the window if you were just at the door). Looked out the peephole and no one was there. Looked out the window and couldn't see anyone. Opened the door and no cars on the street other than mine and no mail/package/chinese food flyer anywhere.
Decided to check the backyard from inside the house since I didn't really know what was going on, looked out the windows no one there. Got a golf club and went out into the backyard, but didn't see anything. Where the person went is in between two houses so the only ways out are back the way you came or by jumping some fences. But I didn't hear anything and I stood looking out the side window and at the door long enough that if someone were at the wrong house they would've turned around and left and I would have seen them.

Are there any weird tales out there about time skips and stuff like that?

Encounter in the Pilliga Region
I'm rather disturbed at this recording of a late-night call-in on a regional Australian overnight radio show. While there could be a completely rational explanation - such as some kind of latent PTSD explosion or drug-related psychosis given that it was 1978 - this sounds very earnest and I'm sitting here with chills.
If anyone knows those desolate roads and back country of Australia's inland, you'd be well-aware of just what a ripe place it is for strange occurrences.
A dead person, stiff because it's a dead person, being pulled along a street in a tradition from some rural part of Indonesia. The picture is just from an unfortunate angle. There's usually a guide there to move the body along and it's presumably the woman behind the corpse. Remember that dead people weigh a lot less than living people.
I just listened to this and it was fucking horrendous. How am I supposed to sleep now?
Also this thread is the best. Never die!
Edit, God I just cannot get over what I would have done after returning to the car. No escape for miles around and stuck in a car with no fucking door staring in to the bush waiting for it to come back. I would have gone mad myself.

Well, people have tried to find the home of the caller. Happy Days Retreat or something like that? It's nowhere to be found, so it's most likely a hoax. But I kinda hope not! No matter - it's still one of the creepiest stories I have heard.

Don't know if it's anywhere near.
Any other people claim to be from the future a la John Titor? Interesting claims you know it's fake though
Omaha the capital city. No way in hell

I really should stop reading this thread at night and in bed before sleeping.

Me and a couple of friends went out to sit by the lake a week or two ago. To get to our spot you have to park in this rural neighborhood, then walk on roads/trails for 20-30 minutes. We stayed out there until around 12 or 1 AM. We went on a couple different trails and explored a bit in the wooded area surrounding the road as well, there were no signs of anyone else out there. While we were walking back we all heard a loud metalish crashing sound from behind us in the woods. We all booked it the fuck outta there. Not sure what it was, anyone have any possible guesses?
When I started the story, I was gonna say that sounded like a weather balloon or something that had caught fire or something.
But then it got weird. That is weird, I've got nothing.
I know. The first two I could see having some kind of weather balloon explanation or something, but the last thing.....I've never seen anything like that before and it really freaked me out. It wasn't spotlights and I don't live anywhere near any military bases, so I counted those out.
Could simply be sleep paralysis.I'm just hanging and the thought occurs to me... victims of "alien abductions". Are they lying for attention? Are they mentally ill? If they're mentally ill and not lying, why are the delusions consistent? Or do they fit the symptoms to the popular culture mythos?

It's all of these, filtered through pop culture. In areas without America's alien mythos, there are almost no reports of alien abductions.

On the topic of alien abductionsYou've gotta wonder;
a super advanced alien race; why would they abduct a person, just to return him?
would it not make far more sense to just kill him after they're done with him, or erase his memories?
I have a UFO sighting I'd like explained, if anyone has any ideas. This was in November 2010.
I was driving to the store, it was starting to get dark. The horizon was just getting orange/pink, but the majority of the sky was still blue. So I'm driving and I happen to look up and see a large white/gray object in the sky. It looked like a blimp at first, but those are almost never around here and this was also an area close to an airport. What stood out was it looked like it was tilted on an angle, which didn't seem right. So I tried to keep watching as I was driving, passing by trees and buildings that would temporally block it from view, but it would always come back into view. When I looked away for a few seconds and looked back it was gone. This was a straight street too, driving right beside it. How could it fly/move away that fast when I was just looking there a few seconds ago? So I shrug it off and keep driving.
Then about 10-15 seconds later I look back at the same spot in the sky and see this small, but very bright white light with this weird, very short smoke/cloud stream behind it. It was just a light too, not a plane or anything and the sky was still very bright at this time. It looked like an extremely bright little star, but in a blue sky. So I'm still driving trying to watch it and come to a stop light and sit there. I look back at it and now the stream is completely gone, but it seems to be moving very slow in the sky, same with the blimp-like thing. It didn't fade away, it was like it was never there and now the light has gotten very dim, almost blinking out, then it does, but comes back a little brighter, then brighter then it blinks out and is gone all together and not a thing is in the sky there. Now I'm getting kind of weirded out...
Now that it's gone I keep looking in the same direction trying to find something, but what I see now is the weirdest of the three. I see this large, flat, saucer/disk like shape in the sky. It was colored like a cloud, a very faint white, almost transparent color like it was trying to blend into the sky, and the sky was still pretty blue at this point.. This thing is very low in the sky, right above the treetops. I come to another stop light and watch it. It slowly moves from the right to the left behind some trees in the distance, then comes back to the right. Then I notice a second, then a third. All the same size and color, but they were in a wide triangle formation now. I'm almost to the store now, but trees and buildings are blocking my view so I hurry to the parking lot and park. It was a perfect view now. I sat there for about five minutes watching them move in the same area of the sky. Going back and forth. They seemed to fade away, then reappear. At times I would see only one or two or all three. They just seemed to vanish on the spot and I couldn't see them any more as the sky got darker and I went on with my business.
So, any explanations?
its hollywood who has been "inspired" by alien stories and in turn made movies/tv shows/etc about it
UFO's (the saucers), the grey alien, adbuction stories....have all been talked about way before anything like it was on tv
Sure, but the stories started skyrocketing when it became 'popular'. Over here in everywhere but the USA, we don't really have any alien/mythical/supernatural mythos going on, and stuff like alien abductions or ghost sightings just seem to hardly happen here at all.
One thing I find pretty creepy are stories of black eyed kids/adults. I just finished reading this one: http://from-the-shadows.blogspot.com/2012/04/font-face-font-family-times-new.html
Have no idea what's up with these stories/sightings (if they're true).
