I understand. Some topics are better left away from the limelight. But anyway, I met a girl on Match.com who happened to be Muslim a while back. We talked a lot over Facebook, and we met numerous times, but the cultural barrier made it difficult to spend enough time with her to form a relationship. She also lives 30 or so minutes away, so that made it worse. I thought about it, and I could see no way that her family would accept me.

As of now we are friends, we occasionally talk on Facebook. One of these days I'll probably hang out with her when she's in town. She's a nice girl but it just couldn't work.

at the end of the transaction she says

I'm like "Uhh, really?" It was sort of surprising considering I had never seen this girl before nor did I even really say much to her other than "hello" at the beginning of the transaction.
