Completely bonkers price and this soon on a new console. I had cyberpunk on my wishlist hoping to see $40 again so this was a very pleasant surprise! On Steam it is $20.99 and that is just the base game. This deal is the base game plus the DLC. That costs $38.62 on Steam. This is a crazy and somewhat inexplicable deal.

I've been playing this on and off on handheld when I just want to fuck around. I finished the Phantom Liberty DLC with the save file I already had on Steam. Game looks and runs pretty dang impressively so if you've not played it yet I def. recommend.
 
Analysis from Resetera: "So the Witcher 3 Complete Edition is 42% off in the US but 75% off the the rest of the world. Looking at DekuDeals Witcher 3 has been 75% off multiple times in the US so it's odd to have a worse deal than it's had in the past. Makes me think they may have applied the wrong discount to each game in the US?

And Cyberpunk is 42% off in the EU shop lol, pretty clear someone has done a kerfuffle"

For anyone outside the USA, just make a new Nintendo account, put your location as the USA and buy a $20 eshop voucher off sites like Gamivo.

Took me 10 minutes and cost me £15.60 in total.

I was initially waiting for a sale on the physical version, but this was too good to pass up, especially since some here are suggesting it could be a fuck up.

Seems odd that it would still be on such a deep discount after several hours if it was a mistake, but, either way, it's downloading for me as we speak.
 
I'm not gonna cave in. I know I'm not gonna like this game, not a fan of first person and all I've seen tells me it's not for me.

Though it is tempting.

I have it on Series X but that is a real easy double dip, especially since it has cross-progression now.
 
Well, it's now the number 1 seller on eshop not surprisingly. It moved up quickly throughout the day. Of course I bought a physical copy just a week ago, lol.

Ah well, I did buy Dragon Quest 3 on sale for $35.

If you buy this you are LITERALLY STEALING from CDPR (and more importantly Nintendo). I advice any REAL fans that want to look out for Ninty's best interest to wait until it is back at full price or the correctly adjusted price.

Nah I crowdfunded the absolute apocalypse that was the launch of this game. It's all reparations forever. Nintendo also stole precious hours of my life with the deception that was Metroid Prime 4.

Where did you get this confirmation ? it says 75% off. kinda checks out. unless the whole 75% off is a mistake which Is possible but not likely. after all the game is 5 years old really. they just want to get any sale out of it before its forgotten. who knows.

If I already paid for it, I don't see it as stealing. Blame the "stealing" on someone who made that mistake.

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that this isn't a price error but rather an aggressive promotional strategy.

A million plus people are going to power on the Switch 2 for the first time on Thursday and they're going to see Cyberpunk at the top of the eShop charts, right above multiple first party games. That could potentially lead to a huge sales boost, even if they're selling at a steep discount.

But I already bought a physical copy at launch. I would have never had another reason to give CDPR any more money. Besides, what theft actually occurs when money changes hands for goods and/or services?

EDIT- WOW, it's now 69.99 on Nintendo.com. Was I the straw that broke Nintendo's back? 😅

I saw that it was on the eshop earlier for $17, and it said that was the sale price for the next 13 days. I just logged back in, planning to purchase it, and it's back to $70 lmao.

I got this game on sale YEARS ago on Series X for like $20 or $30 iirc. I'd gladly double dip for $20 or less, but full price is fucking retarded. I'm also not ever going to roll the dice on a full price Switch 2 port without a demo.
 
Just played the first 20 minutes, and this thing looks absolutely unbelievable for a Switch 2 game. There were moments where it looked like I was streaming from my PS5. Gives me hope as to what they'll be able to do in the future with Switch 2.
 
I lucked out grabbing this earlier. I didn't realize it was a price error but I'll take it. Heard good things about this on Switch 2 and wanted to support the effort plus I want to play Phantom Liberty. Apparently it's great.
