It was originally slated for June 26th, but got pushed back to July 16th.

They said they stop working on the game and it's kinda true. CDPR isn't making these updates, they hired Virtuous for them.

Don't expect massive DLC news or a complete AI overhaul or something.

CDPR games get updates long after their release, mainly small additions to the game like cosmetics.
Apparently Witcher 3 is getting a big patch with content next year and that game is over 10 years old.

Last few CP2077 patches have mainly been new cars and customization options. I doubt this patch is much more than that.
