The Enemies of Man
Leonardo returns to learn that Duke Federico has been ruling Florence with an iron fist; a sinful Riario seeks redemption; King Ferrante negotiates with Lorenzo.
New episode tonight:
Heh, thought the season had ended.
I have to admit, Lara Pulver looked pretty damn delicious in that slave corset. YOWZA
Very disappointed that they made Carlo, the only black cast member left a fucking badguy
Great episode. I can't believe that one eyed dude made Clarice into his very own Slave Leia. lol
Making him into a villain is a lot more interesting than keeping him in Florence to be Clarice's political conspirator/fuck buddy. This ensures that he'll have a lot more juicy material in the future and it gives Da Vinci a new main antagonist now that Riario has gone the way of the antihero.
If Riario joins the Enemies of Man, pretty sure he'll firmly be a villain.
I did not like that 'twist' episode in the end. Introducing a new cult with a few lines of speech and then showing that all along Carlo wasn't bad just felt like a cop-out. I think the twist would have been better if they had allowed the 'new cult' to have been introduced into the story for more than one episode and a few lines. I haven't been pleased with the plot this season, it has been too disjointed.

Well, the Enemies of Man aren't a new cult. Haven't they been the vague baddies since the beginning? This is just the first time we've seen them physically on screen outside of a dream or al Rahim's ramblings.
Carlo being a villain came outta fucking nowhere though, but I wanna see how this plays out.

Does anyone think the real pope will come back to power and be just as evil as the fake pope? His starting a war just to get his title back seems crazy to me.
I thought it was just a metaphor... not an actual club with an "Enemies of Man" handshake and "Enemies of Man" business cards. It went from some cool mystery to PAGAN. All they need is some goat masks, goat leggings and a Virgin Connie Swail.Well, the Enemies of Man aren't a new cult. Haven't they been the vague baddies since the beginning? It's good to see he is going to have something to do, but I'll admit I didn't see this, not even sort of. He dropped a hint or two about the Book of Leaves, but nothing that didn't seem like his dad didn't just tell him a weird story.Carlo being a villain came outta fucking nowhere though, but I wanna see how this plays out.

Annoyingly, there isn't going to be a new episode this week due to Memorial Day. The finale will air on the 31st.

I wish it wasn't taking a break, but we still have a new Orphan Black so I can't be too upset.
- Promo for the season finale (please spoiler tag any discussion)
Was this season 8 or 10eps? Feels like it was only 8...
The Sins of Daedalus
An unlikely alliance is needed to save Italy from an Ottoman attack; Riario faces danger; Nico takes control of Vanessa's destiny.
I will tell you this... the best character this season, for me, was Count Riario. I went from hating him in S1 to absolutely loving the character by the last episode. I hope he does not become a scumbag again
Ha ha, after last season I should've been ready for the cliffhanger.
Now that's how you do a season finale. So much happened and they set up so many great things for next season. A+ all the way.
Oh shiiit! The chained woman was Da Vinci's mom all along! What a twist! How did no one guess that though? It's so obvious in retrospect!

The MTV one XD
Yeah, it was a very eventful finale that set up a ton of things for next season. I'm so glad the show was renewed because that would have made for a terrible series finale.
