You want them to fall off the edge of the world? That's monstrous.
South America mang!

Now we're getting somewhere. This was a fun episode, but damn it had some brutal gore in it. That head smash was revolting.
That high priestess was something else...
Jumps through the three storylines were jarring at certain points.
Nothing yet.Any news on the renewal?

Just assume that it's going to be cancelled, and then if it isn't, it'll be a pleasant surprise.
That's the tact I take with anything low rated that I watch.
The Rope of the Dead
Entering the Vault of Heaven presents challenges for Leonardo and Riario; Lorenzo becomes a part of King Ferrante's bloody games; Lucrezia meets the Turk in Constantinople.
Tonights episode is actually co-written by one of my favorite comic book writers, Matt Fraction (Immortal Ironfist and Dudebro Hawkeye) and the actor who plays Da Vinci. I'm excited, hope it doesn't disappoint.

It was very Arnold Schwarzenegger from Predator when he hid in the mud.Riarioooooooooooooooo! That whole cornfield part was really intense.
I thought Da Vinci's stuff was a little weak, but the Riario and Medici plotlines were great.I don't know...I wasn't really feeling that one. Da Vinci's vision quest felt like low budget filler, but I think it would have worked if Lorenzo and Lucretia hadn't also had "ghost" encounters of their own. It was just too much otherworldly nonsense all at once. Riario's scenes were fantastic though.
True. Red and yellow, kill a fellow; red and black, friend of Jack....or something like that. I might be misremembering the rhyme from when I was a kid. Also, the "deadly" snake they showed was a kingsnake, not a coral snake. Kingsnakes aren't poisonous (to humans, anyway) and I don't know why they didn't just get a coral snake for that shot, especially since none of the actors had to interact with it.

It really is.Lol, worst time ever to misremember a rhyme.
Because you can find a king snake at most pet shops whereas coral snakes and other venomous snakes are really limited to specialty shops that service zoos and crazy people. The drug manufacturers don't even bother stocking Coralmyn any more because bites are so rare. Who is going to want to handle one of the things for a TV shoot when you know your handler is going to just have to hope for the best and the only people who are gonna be bothered are serpentologists and internet guys. Also, the "deadly" snake they showed was a kingsnake, not a coral snake. Thanks Nostradamus. What's your predictions for Season 3?
It's hard to say. I haven't read anything online about how it's doing in relation to Starz' expectations, how well it's doing On Demand® or internationally, or what have you.
All I know is:
It's expensive to produce.
Its first run ratings are at the mid-to-low end of the Starz spectrum.
It's in its second season.
It showed virtually no growth season to season.
And that Starz likes to cancel their shows when the above criteria are met. So.
