isn't thursday the big game release day in japan? if so wow at brain training at number 2 and big touch dic!

almost as funny as norton's anti virus in the UK charts for years. :D

looking at playasia's site, seems like you have to wait up to a week if you want to order the dictionary.

wonder if they'd do other dictionaries...? how about localised versions like America to English?? :D i mean, all the EFIGS territories? how about Korean?

Wow so touch dic is translated as easy pulling dictionary? That's perfect.
Touch Dic was the dictionary for Korea or something. I don't think it was made by Nintendo. The one in the charts in the official Nintendo Japanese dictionary thing.

Yep. Touch DIC and DS Easy Dictionary are completely seperate non-games. Touch DIC is made by Daiwon C&A Holdings (who handle Nintendo distribution in Korea) and is only slated for Korean release so far.

Insane. I'll bet that dick touching dictionary stays at the top of the charts for some time, too. Non games are here to stay.

well I really did not expect the Dictionary to be on the top 10 less so to end up on the top 5
Even though play asia will be sending my copy soon :)

So... with Trauma Center starting at 7th place, presumably down in the 1500-2000 copy range, it's pretty safe to assume it's a JPN bomb?

I hope it does much better in the US. I'll be buying it, at least.

Hard to say since it is just the first day of sales for the title. We will see if it has legs or not.

No legs = bomba.

talk about long legs. but i also suspect it's a pretty slow sales time, still, ds sales are impressive.

Shit. Wario Ware Touched is in the top 10 again.

That's gotta be pushing 700k by now.

Hot Shots Golf might be nearing 400k too. Pretty damn good.

I'd imagine with Wario Ware back in the top 10, the Dictionary non game is pushing new NDS sales.

Another non game victory? We shall see :)

The dictionary is number four on a sales chart for videogames. The motherfucking dictionary.

Fantastic.

Ever keep track of UK sales?

someone explain to me how the same nintendo can be responsible for their console and their handhelds business.

how can people like one of their products so much, yet the console counterpart just takes a beating week after week.

Because Nintendo treats their consoles like a red-headed step child. It just seems, ever since the NES, that they've grudgingly been making next-generation console games, just so public awareness in that area is not lost on them.

Is the Dictionary DS 'game' the one that can translate from Japanese to English and has the kanji-input thing?

because the DS actually has games. I expect Zelda to at least be in the top 20 when it comes out.
