This is so LAME.

I spent yesterday and all of today reviewing for this statistic exam with a friend, everything was 100% understood, we re-did all the problems we did during that particular segment of the semester. I went in expecting to ace the exam.

For some reasons, my brain.. glitched.

I forgot a fucking root symbol when i wrote down all my formulas on the first page (I always do that, I just dump all the formulas I know by hearth on a page so i just look-up that page instead of risking having my nerves fucking with me and forgetting stuff).

So i did 70% of the exam with one of my basic formula being used to calculate everything WRONG. I'm always the last to leave the class, since I'm always reviewing all my problems to death, just to be sure. I guess it just never occured to me that something was missing. I walked to the professor's desk with a Han Solo smile, expecting to own everyone. She starts correcting the first half .. "it seems that you have forgotten a symbol somewhere.."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. oh well, she told me I should pass since she gives point on the method and everything, but since none of my answers are right, i still lose a fuckload of points. This sucks horribly, with a perfect grade on that exam, I was nearly sure of having a passing grade for the semester already. God damn.

I've thought I've BOMBED an exam several times - but everytime I end up doing fine (or just mediocre). Forget about it for now and wait for the results. You never know how they will mark it.

I swear, going 'blank' is the worst feeling in the world. I've gone blank for several exams - mostly math and stat ones. It's funny, you try to keep calm and composed on the outside, but on the inside you're basically screaming "FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK SHIT I'M DEAD AHHHH HELP!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! STUPID PROF PICKED THE WRONG QUESTIONS! AHH!!! FUCK"

Usually exam anxiety tends to subside after about 15 minutes once you've gone over the exam once or whatever and started to answer the questions, assuming you've studied.

If not, you'll just start laughing like me when you realise you don't know shit, and yeah, a sigh of relief in knowing at least the course is over :lol

Ugh, I had that a few weeks ago with a really, really, really important exam. I can't believe how bad I screwed myself there, it wasn't even that hard, but I panicked and messed up a lot of basic stuff. I got 4/10 while it should have been 7/10 at the very least, only ~2 points of the exam were actually hard.
