Hello Kark, and thank you Flush for that nice summary of TWE's activities. I'm not sure that I agree with the scum read of trigger though. I've been gut reading him as slightly town leaning.

Do you have anything specific? I'm leaning the other way from Worthy's weird "I don't town read Trigger, but don't wanna lynch him" comment and Trigger not commenting on Worthy D3. Trigger wasn't directly called out D3 as I can see, but just before Corn voted Worthy he said "I could see TWE and Trigger both being scum".

FWIW Worthy said during the Oceanic wagon that he preferred a Trigger lynch over OA, but voted Blarg. Blarg had 3 votes to Trigger's 2 though.

Reading over Worthy's contributions to this thread again and I'm having flashbacks to a certain island.

I could see him and Trigger being two peas in a scum pod. I'd rather start with Trigger, though. Took a closer look at his activity, as well. Bit of a wagon jumper, that one. Always early, though. Trying to test the waters? Finally settled on Star, two days running, for not much reason. Votes tend to look less fishy if you appear to be tunneling.

Wish I'd stuck to my guns yesterday. At least Corn made up for our mistake in his own way.

"I'm suspicious of [SCUM BUDDY] but I don't want to lynch him now" is something I explicitly remember Worthy doing in the past.

It's funny, I feel like I have a really intimate understanding of Worthy's scum playstyle because I composed a giant megapost about him when he was the final boss on Cthulhu Island. The question remains whether or not he changed his ways, but it's a thread worth pulling for now.

I'm gonna go on a limb and say if darkark is scum, then I feel pretty decent about blarg, and vice versa. I will be pissed off if they're both scum.

I think the convo between them went a step too far for me to consider it as some pre-made fake argument between scumbros. And then the subsequent dropout. If Kark or Stanley flip scum, I'll probably feel better about the other.

Anywho, the great 1 page flip-flop contained 1 confirmed scum, 1 confirmed neutral, and 1 unknown gryvan. I had my sword aimed at gryvann last day phase, but I don't know if two scum would go for such flip floppily play one after the other. If TWE and gryvann were both scum, the diff in strategy would be that TWE never gave a vote to the bandwagon (no paper trail), but gryvann did.

But then TWE said people should immediately look at gryvan + corn for looking at Starsketch. At this point, scum probably knew about corn, but would they be willing to put heat on their own scumbro gryvan to try to take out corn? ~Ehh~

I guess at the moment, I'm reconsidering my stance on nuking gryvann.

While I wait for Blarg, I wanted to comment on something about the Danny Phantom thing in the rules:

If Danny Phantom dies, we have a blind voting round the next day.

The thing is, a blind vote is not necessarily a bad thing, and not necessarily 100% blind.
We'd have an entire day to discuss with no VOTE: command allowed. However, we can certainly pledge to vote one way or another, and make coalitions. There are ways to game that situation.

The rules for that event still say the majority vote will be lynched, so scum players really won't hold a ton of sway by themselves. There is going to be a huge social bandwagoning/confusion element removed from their tactics. They're going to have to work very hard to get someone lynched, and it will be apparent.
