Dark matter Galaxy discovered

So absolutely nothing could live there right? Unless only blind creatures lived there? I dunno.

Dark matter isn't literally "Dark matter". it's matter that we can not perceive or detect at all, because it doesn't interact with anything in the electromagnetic spectrum (AKA tangible things)

So creatures can still live in the galaxy if the conditions for life exist in some solar system there, just like in our galaxy.

how does dark matter coalesce into a galaxy?

is dark matter affected by gravity in the same way that regular matter is?
 
I think it's great we're making scientific discoveries about far off galaxies but let's not forget about our own. All galaxies matter.

This is amazing news. I am seriously filled with awe at the prospect of having discovered such a galaxy. Does it radiate anything, if not light? What is dark matter?
 
We need to find the pop star asap.
