Dark souls 1 lovers… how soon do you do… what you need to do? Example:

Love reading everyone's stories, the original Dark Souls was pure magic. Still the best world and map ever created.

I've always wanted to try killing Quelaag right after arriving at Firelink and ringing the second bell first, it's doable but not with shitty skills like mine. I usually just end up making a safe OP Pyro build but still enjoy myself.

Never considered that lol ringing 2nd bell first

Does that open Sens? I would think not

She would WRECK my shit if I tried her first. I need that warmup from Taurus and Gargoyles and usually do Capra and sometimes gaping dragon all before her. Capra is a crap shoot. Super easy if you kill the dogs, but bad RNG and they all rush you at the door and stun lock you.

Also I have NEVER EVER had issues with Archers. Does not mean they have never killed me, but at most it is 2-3 times. That damn ceiling is more trouble for me.

Wew! That's certainly a way to play the game. Well whatever fancys your tickle I suppose.
Yeah, apparently it is not the norm. I also never really save souls. Just gather a few up and pop em all like it's raining souls.

Never once had any boss weapon lol Things need to change for me.

That's your aim for the next run then. Curved sword run, save Quelaag's soul, then take the +10 CS to the Giant Blacksmith in Anor Londo. And keep your humanity up.

Even better than that if you fancy a NG+ run is to save Artorias' soul and get his weapon.

Sounds like a plan! I am down for it! Curved swords sounds fun

I will admit another thing... I have never beaten the DLC (PLEASE DONT TELL ANYONE)

Tried it once AGES ago and just said nah it is too hard etc

I always start by taking way too long in the character creator, then promise myself I'll do a different build this time, then proceed to do pretty much the same things I always do.

That DLC can hit hard, but the beauty of the Quelaag's soul run I just suggested is you can just hit 2 minimum stats (11 str 13 dex) and pump everything else in HP and stamina. You'll be absolutely flying by the time you hit the DLC.

Keep us updated

Will do for sure! Excited to try it out
