That's odd then because I'm not seeing any. I have a 280X.
Everything looks normal. Temperates at a good range, GPU load is at 99%, cpu is fine, RAM isn't having any issues.
I'm literally running Dark Souls 3 at a fluctuating 33-51 FPS (consistently at 33--40) on:
GTX 970 4gb
I7 4790 3.6ghz
Windows 10
8GB ram.
Like, what? I tried old drivers, tried clean uninstall of old drivers, tried new drivers, tried no Xbox One Elite controller, tried windowed mode, 900p, 720p, all low, still cant run a lock 60.
WHAT WOULD POSSIBLY be making my computer unable to run this game at 720p on all low settings at under 50FPS consistently.
I'm losing it.
i5 running at 3 ghz
What does your core clock say when it's running like this?
This sounds like a post-driver crash performance. I get this sometimes (not in this game yet, but others in the past) where it runs at 99 percent but at like 580mhz instead of the 1440ish it should be. Happens in many games.
I did a benchmark using MSI afterburner and Heaven and it was all good. No signs of anything to worry about. :/
Was running around 1500.
What does it report in the game?
Also your core clock should not be near 1500 if you're not OCing it like you said.
I was under the impression that it should be considering it's an SSC. Let me check again to be sure.
That card's default boost clock is 1342 mhz.
What does it fix?v1.03.1 was released a short while ago. 41MB.
Still crashed with new patch with lighting on max. Had to put it back to low. 780ti
I'm not having any particular issue, beyond the auto save stutter, but it's disappointing to see the crash issues not solved yet.
I am sure they would've adressed this in the patch notes if it were fixed. I think it's going to be a while until they fix this and the saving hitches might never be fixed.
I've been running latest drivers since game launch with no crash and maxed settings locked 60 at 1440p besides autosave hitch
i7 490k 4.7ghz
980 ti
I wonder if they could patch up the texture streaming so the pop in isn't so bad.
reshade? Is there a way to enhance the AA quality of the game?
Downsampling is too taxing, maybe inspector injection works?
Yes. ReShade's SMAA works wonders on top of the ingame AA, without hardly any performance cost.reshade?
Well, tried it, still averaging 40-45fps in high wall of lothric...
This is insane.![]()
I've tried even playing on low and 900p, still 40-45.
anyone know the cause of the Skating Animation in Multiplayer? It is unplayable for me and I guess it has to do with bad internet connection to the server or the players? I have good internet speed (50mbps) but not sure how to troubleshoot DS3. Wasn't an issue before, i think..
Cant play like this at all since you dont even know if people are attacking you or helping you or where they are moving.
Yes. ReShade's SMAA works wonders on top of the ingame AA, without hardly any performance cost.
As many have said, your PC should run this game maxed out at 60 fps at 1080 easily. Is peformance crappy in other games too? If that's the case, maybe you should just say fuck it and reinstall Windows. DS3 is not a really demanding game.
That's odd then because I'm not seeing any. I have a 280X.
so i died to the Dand now if I go anywhere near that area my game crashes. I can warp to vancers bonfire but warping the high wall one crashes, walking through the doors to the stairs to dordtcrashes, walking from the tower bonfire to dancercrashes.ancer
So i now cannot finish the game. I have tried wearing a helmet, putting the lighting on low, wearing no armour, no weapons and restarting the game and PC.
NVIDIA driver 347.88 from 2015 fixed the crash on my 770, please everyone try it.
NVIDIA? Try downgrading to an old driver. It might fix it.
I'm on 970 and this is my second playthrough - it was working fine before![]()
what driver were you using before when it was workign?
Apparently I am getting per-object motion, but honestly it's so soft I can't notice it at all in-game.
I am sure they would've adressed this in the patch notes if it were fixed. I think it's going to be a while until they fix this and the saving hitches might never be fixed.
So from what I'm hearing, fixing the bonfire crash is more on Nvidia than on From?
Latest Nvidia driver killed my framerate. Dipping into the 40's at times.
At the bottom of the screen you can see it, I wonder what is causing that? Usually happens in two spots but both at the bottom in square like that.
