I've been working on a quality character, but now that I've finished Dragon Shrine, it's kind of boring. All of the halberds have the same moveset, and none of the broadswords feel that exciting either. What do?

Well, damn. Theis about the only place I have left to do besides FREE FALLIN' and it's kicking my ass. I can't even get summoned there to see my path ahead.Iron Keep
Try different weapons some of the boss ones like the drake wing ultra greatsword have special R2 attacks. And it scales B for dex for some reason whilst being D for strength. Or try the Gyrm axe it's great axe move set whilst being an axe..I've been working on a quality character, but now that I've finished Dragon Shrine, it's kind of boring. Does the steam overlay work fine with Durante's program now?
I have the most fun in Souls games when I am carrying the biggest hammer/sword/axe I can find.
I actually meant to say NG, without the +.
My point was that after over 90 hours I still haven't beaten the game
I feel like you suck. Ate a crystal soul spear recently?
But in all seriousness, I still feel like I felt since weeks: the game clearly wasn't built to be played entirely without ambient lighting.
the second one remind me of this

After crushing the skulls of a dozen wizards with that big meaty club, its hard to have any respsect =p
I do think it can be a bit severe, and the ENB does offer the choice of adjusting it. I plan to play with it another time an try to find a nice middle ground where the torch will be helpful, but not necessarily feel like you can't see anything at all without it.
Nope.

For all your lore discussion needs.I basically absorbed everything I can do in this game so far. Now I just want to know what the fuck is going on with the lore. Like howKing Vendrick is human but also 8 feet tall. And how the Giants of DaS2 look nothing like the Giants from DaS1. Or why the Chosen Undead's kooky adventure in Lordran doesn't even get a footnote in the history books.
On the one hand that makes sense and is cool but on the other would make it too hard for me. I like Durante's GeDoSaTo included post processing thing that darkens things slightly but not too much as to make you need a torch all the time.
Would be interesting doing a playthrough like that though.
To adjust the flame glow and character halo glow without wrecking the rest of the lighting (it seems to be all tied in to the bloom, DoF glimmer, and the HDR adaption, which you've already noticed) you adjust the pointlightingcurveday/night a decimal point or two lower.
Or you can do what I do and just use the in-game brightness slider and knock it up one or two notches
Also, I've played up to Iron Keep with the mod on. I imagine the rest of the game is beatable too.
Before the influx of new players I updated the dual wielding table I did for the tips page in the other thread. Would you kindly edit in the newest version to the tips page?Remember once this thread has reached the end you must move to community thread and join with the console players to the discussion.

Hey guys, I wanted to throw up a little comparison of WickFutts ENB with the ambient light removed, next to the vanilla game, and get your thoughts on it.
Shrine of Amana is still some annoying shit on my second playthrough.
I'm getting really tired of those psychic mages with tracking soul arrows and ridiculous aggro ranges!
Atleast I should know better than to accidentally fall into the deep water and die instantly this time.
Last page before this gets fused with the other OT in the desolate desert that it is the community sub-forum. Bye Guys
Hmm why is the hand sticking out like that? It's not real is it?As a small send off to the PC thread, we should admire something only the PC can do.
Fuckin BARREL ARMOR.

Most likely. It just looks like it's been stuck on in photo shop lol.Armors not actually attainable in the game, probably because of those silly clipping issues.

Man, all of this character customization and you can't even redo it at will like with your stats.
Like in dragon's dogma you could redo your character again if you'd like to after a certain point.Yeah, it would be great if the coffin let you redo character creation.
You only took off 10% of the skeleton lords lifebar with 2 people?
Damn man, get gud already.
