Now, I may be biased here (I've known the guy for going on four years)...but I'm real impressed with the job he did with the source figure (Doom) and extra parts from a Vader statue.

Damn, that looks sweet. Now Im not a star wars collector though so Im not sure how good it is compared to the official Darth Vader figures but that looks sweet

Well, to be honest, it's not really all that accurate to the body...but the style of Doom's armor does translate nicely to Vader's likeness.

A very nice custom but I'll stick to this bad boy, which I got for $8.99 last week...

Still I wish that they would do a separate 6 inch line using 20-32 points of articulation per figure, like the Marvel Legends.
