Grohl Joins Nine Inch Nails

12 Jul 2004 Foo Fighters mainman and all round workaholic, Dave Grohl, is set to play drums on the next Nine Inch Nails studio album.

The former Nirvana tub thumper, who has also filled in for Killing Joke and Queens Of The Stone Age, recorded a session this past Friday (9th July) at Sound City Studios in Van Nuys, California, USA.

In related news, the follow up to 1999's 'The Fragile', will be called 'Bleedthrough'. A release date is still to be confirmed.

too bad we'll all be dead before it's out.

There is no confirmation that Dave Grohl is playing drums on Bleed Through. The webcam on NIN.com was on yesterday and there was a bunch of people in an LA studio (not Nothing Studios), and Dave Grohl happened to be there jamming. As far as I know, Jerome Dillion is still set as the current NIN drummer, he's just gearing up his first solo project on Bjork's record label.

Shit, I saw Leo on the damn webcam. Leo to take Trent's place in |\| | |/|!!!@!J!(!
