Excellent choices. A new career in a new town is one of my favourites of his, such a brilliant and inspiring track.

He really looked deteriorated in the Lazarus video. It was probably (physically and emotionally) hard for him to be in the video. RIP

Great choices. Strangers When We Meet is probably my favourite song ever and Untitled No.1 might just be his most underrated song.

Only got into his stuff last year, but he quickly rose to become my favourite musician of all time. What an unbelievable man. He was always decades ahead.

He was my dads favourite artist and he was also mine. Never cried over a celebrity before, I'm fighting back the tears on the way into work.

RIP David Bowie

i've listened to low in its entirety on repeat for a couple days at work. it's one of my favorite albums of his. 'new career' stands out to me, but so do subterraneans and art decade.

both of these were big surprises. i can see why everything except 'earthling' was kinda ignored, but there was some good stuff there.

Hallo Spaceboy - Bowie & Pet Shop Boys

I've always loved the video to this. I liked how it turned into the last song of the Major Tom trilogy, almost. The original album version is much harder sounding, and that too, is a great song, but this version combined my favourite band and turned it into a synth stomper. It pushed me in the general direction of Bowie and his music.

Red Sails - David Bowie

It's spiky, seemingly unpolished and jumpy, but it's one hell of a grower and evolved into of my favourite Bowie songs. The records with Eno were such a huge departure and, yet again, he just nailed it.

Station to Station - David Bowie

10 minutes of pure bliss. That's all I have to say about this one.

fuck...like a gut punch that news
we are really starting to lose some great artists.....this is the one thing that sucks about getting older...all the people you love growing up are dead or drop dead

damn, loved bowie since i first heard his music used in a skate video back in 2001 (flip sorry in case anyone is wondering), such a great musician, gonna be listening to his stuff for the next few days, listening to young americans as im writing this, RIP BOWIE

My wife and I listened to 'Blackstar' yesterday evening. She said that he sounded like a ghost in space.
Now he's dead and we are really really devastated, because he meant so much for us, growing up in the 80s with Heroes and everything...

So sad.

Getting to that age where your childhood idols and teeny crushes start to die is tough man. They seem to be dropping like flies recently.

RIP Bowie. Space oddity is still one of the best pop songs ever written.

What the fuck, I thought it was a joke when I first saw this.

Man... I don't even know what to think.

At least he left us with an amazing end to his legacy.

RIP, Bowie.

Only really got in to Bowie last year properly. I always liked a couple choice songs of his but it was after hearing Modern Love on the radio whilst doing a long distance drive that I decided to find out just how much music of his I would like. And it was a lot, and I finally understood why he was so loved. I'd been really anticipating his latest album.

RIP David
