That's because Mediterranean region contains north Africa, Levant and southern Europe:

And northern Arican people aren't black as well, many of them are had Greek ancestors (Greece started many cities on African coast) and of course a lot of them now have Arab ancestry (after Islam conquest).

Black people were separated by Sahara, their populations in northern Africa weren't that big in ancient times.

Also says he is not "bisexual". Seems pretty obvious, but that came from a joke on twitter where Jaffe was trolling "homophobes".

Jaffe also says that race had nothing to do with the selection of TC Carson. The voice was chosen from a number of options from recordings.
