Days of Play 2025 Starts May 28 | Discounts on PS5 Consoles, PS+, PS VR2, Games, and Accessories

Anybody know when they're adding GTA III Definitive? Most of the others have been added to the catalogue and the monthly games too.

Edit: June the 10th 😐

Finna grab RDR2 since it's only $15 even though I beat it on pc long while back.

Also, Prodeus is on sale to scratch that Doom 2016 itch. Hmmmm…

It's old news at this point, but the decline in game sales over the last ten years is incredible. I could buy a used copy of almost any year old game in 2015 for $15/20. Maybe $35 for a very popular game.

Now that's the sale price for games 5+ years old.

Decent deals, I own most of these games already. The only one I really want is Astro Bot. I'll wait for a bigger discount.

Decent deals?!? These are rubbish deals for games that are years old.

man, I haven't touched my PS5 since FF7R2 -- was hoping for a deeper discount on Astro Bot. Looks like it'll collect dust a bit longer.

So I finally ended up buying -

Turok Trilogy
Quake 1 & 2 bundle
Nobody wants to Die
Stray
Thank Goodness you're here

Got £70 gift card for £60.85 from ShopTo which I thought was good.

Also, have the Doom Anthology in my basket now as thats gone on sale.....

Welp, finally received my volcanic red dualsense and...it looks like shit 😁

-The top half matte, half glossy /glittery red looks kitschy and cheap.
- the red bottom part is completely matte and doesn't color match AT ALL the top plastics.

First world problems, I know, still, I don't think that the chroma collection looks good, you'd be better off with the solid color ones.

Oh well, it'll serve it's purpose, plus, I got it from Amazon for that hassle free exchange when it'll inevitably start drifting 1 year from now

But why is Sackboy more expensive than TLOU2 remaster? Sackboy is a small AA games targeting children. It should be a cheap game you can easily buy for anniversaries or Christmas.

TLOU2 remaster is a AAA game targeting adults, it should have a normal price as adults have the money.

But yeah I know why they did this. Sackboy/Demon's Souls were planned by the oldschool team and the new team decided to make them flop to prove a point: AA / traditionnal games don't make money. They wanted to prove a point to the shareholders that only GAAS and AAAA Ubisoft games will make them money so they are manipulating prices to confirm their own bad decisions. But right now we can see they are failing as for instance they got way more profits by copy from Demon's souls (at $70/€80 !) than their other boring AAAA products sold at a lower price with plenty of deals.
I think Playstation are more likely to have discounts when sales have reached a milestone, where they've recouped most of the cost plus some. From the early days of Playstation they had PS Greatest Hits where games were lowered in price based on reaching sales milestones but now they concentrate more on Days of Play discounts during the summer. I don't think Sackboy has really hit the milestones required, that's all.
