How is the quality of digital movie downloads on iTunes?
the US DHD sites (except iTunes which doesn't have the film at all) have both cuts available so yeah, they're releasing it early on Digital.
It's pretty good I'd say for watching on laptop/tablet, the 720p downloads are roughly the same quality as your regular Blu-ray rip

Will be hard to avoid the extended content spoils.

I'm still of the opinion the UC won't dramatically alter opinions on the film. Since, at the end of the day, folks didn't like the plot and concept of BvS. My problems had to do with the storytelling, more than the story. If the UC cleans it up, I'll be happy.
Not on NeoGAF anyway.

Total digital rookie, but is there a way to just pre-order the hard copy and get the digital code early? Or do you always have to wait to pop open the hard copy and get that digital code?
Watched without sound, but seems like adds at least one subplot and a few action-y set-pieces.

Same here. I'm rolling with the sentiment that the UC will only make fans of the film love it even more. If detractors can look at the UC and find a worthwhile movie in it, then I'm good.
Edit: Just saw the trailer for the UC...that was a lot of Clark. It seems like the aftermath of the incident in Africa is going to be expanded upon. Also, it looks like Jena Malone's character isn't anyone too special at first glance but then I see those glasses and, well, how could I not think of Babs?
