Just curious, have they ever made a fighting game featuring DC characters? I recall hearing an annoucement not to long ago that they were creating a game using their universe and I saw a screenshot in a YTMND.gif file, its right at the end.

But very possibly that could have been photoshopped. Just wondering, been playing alot of 2D fighter and been reading alot of comics as of late.

/They ARE doing a DC game. But it's an Action RPG much like X-men Legends.

It'll be based on the JLA.

The fighting game iin question is Justice League Task Force.... and it sucks.

I don't know if the rumors were true or not, but there one stating that Capcom was planning to get thier hands on the rights to DC.

Other than that, SOE has a DC MMO in development for the PC, PS3 and PSP and WBIE has a DC(JLA) action-rpg coming. Both I'm definitely looking forwards to with eagerness, but hopefully they don't suck

Man I wish capcom would get their hands on the DC rights and make a MvC type game with them, can you just fucking imagine it? Kyle, Hal and Guy in a triple team finisher, Kyle makes himself into a knight or something, Hal makes a jet engine or jet, Guy...well god knows what Guy would. Or all three Flash's Barry, Wally, and Bart or Jay. It'd be something.

I remember going to gamecrazy a while back and hearing the idiot at the counter talk to this kid about the marvel vs games and the kid mentions something about Marvel Vs. SNK and the guy at the counter was like "Yeah I heard about that too"

Reminds me of that one thread about people in the stores being idiots.

I always dreamt of Capcom doing a DC fighting game...and then they could have re-used the sprites for the inevitable DC Vs. Marvel Vs. Capcom.

I bet the Green Lantern will be John Stewart, though - he's the one on all the merchandising nowadays thanks to the JL animated series.

I'm a huge Batman fan, I just imagine the begining of every round him coming down from the top of the screen and having his cape draped over him and slowly get up from the crouching position.

Either DC vs. Marvel or anything DC would sound good to me right now....or possibly a Batman game that doesn't suck. They all have since the NES one.
