I'm looking for something to compliment my luxury apartment: a nice new TV. My price range is $800-$1300 but I can do more or less depending. Please GAF, recommend me a TV!

You have no preferences? HD versus ED or standard resolution? LCD, plasma, DLP or CRT? Brand preferences? A Panasonic high-definition CRT? Or possibly this Samsung high-definition SlimFit CRT.

Should I just invest in a HD TV or will ED/standard suffice? I really like the TVs that are slimmer than the conventional, older ones, but don't need to have the Plasma/LCD (though it would be nice if I could find one at a decent price). I'd like something in the 30"-42" range. Those two you sent me look very good, especially the latter.

hdtv crts can get fairly slim now and are probably your best be in that price range
