A lot of Morrison's previous work was good. Arkham Aslyum, his JLA run and Swamp Thing just to name a few. Things he's done in the last say 5 - 10 years though, I do not like one bit. He does 2 things with Superman, that I just can't stand, super science bullshit, and inventing new powers out of the blue just for the hell of it. Like Veelk was basically saying a lot of it is just groan inducing to me. He also loves to make it seem like there are all these elaborate strings being pulled, and OMG look at all these connections. When for me, most of them feel so loose, and just last minute ohh shit let's make this connect to this, I can't help but roll my eyes. His recent stuff just isn't for me. Personally I'm glad that he'll be off characters that I like, specially Action Comics.
Like I said, I'm not trying to say all his stuff is shit, or put down any of his past work. Cause he has done some good things in the past, just what he's doing now is not for me. I don't hate anyone either for liking his work, that's cool everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Just don't hate on others who don't share that opinion. As Supermanisdead said, his fans are just insufferable right now. You voice the opinion that you don't like something Morrison has done and they react as though you just started raping their Mom/GF/Wife/Daughter.

Since I was starting this whole Morrison-hate, I feel compelled to elaborate on some of my comments. I have only read Morrison's All-Star Superman and his Batman-run (including Arkham Asylum and Batman:Gothic) and I formed my opinion on his work based on those. The very moment I saw the first recommendations on We3, Doom Patrol and his JLA-run, I realized that I haven't read any of those! So, I'll get to reading those ASAP and we'll see, how it turns out 
Truth be told, from what I've heard about We3, I'm fairly frightened that it will obliterate me - animals have always been my soft spot and it seems, that Morrison will pull no punches in that particular story. Hell, when I was younger, watching Homeward Bound was a real ordeal for me.

Two issues into Scarlet and it's bad. I don't know what i was thinking when i liked the first issue a year ago, the second is definitely worse. The vibe is weird, Scarlet spends the majority of time talking about her situation to the reader to the point where you get halfway through the trade and it feels like it's just starting and everything previously was opening narration.

It's kind of like Batman-light, still fun though.
The Chuck Dixon and and Pete Tomasi runs pre-New 52 are both very good. I liked them quite a bit.
