Love a good Denzel, guy always seems so consistently good. Everything from american gangster, hurricane, man on fire, flight, fences and the equaliser.

Whats your favourite Denzel gaf?

indeed he is. love him in all the films I've seen him in. John Q, The Bone Collector, The Seige, Man On Fire, The Takeing of Pelham 123, Book Of Eli, Inside Man, Training Day, Unstoppable, Equalizer. his performance in all these movies are outstanding. and even in the IMO "weaker" movies like Deja Vu, Equalizer 2, Remember The Titans, Magnificent Seven etc, his performance is still clearly above everyone else. I still need to watch The Fences, but I imagine his performance can only get better with Viola Davis to bounce off of each other.

on a side note, isn't his son also an actor? how's he coming along? got any of the old man's talent? must sucks having to fill such big shoes in terms of people comparing the two of them.

Crimson Tide is probably my favorite Denzel flick, probably my favorite submarine movie too. Just re watched it back in November.

Glory is probably my 2nd favorite.

Quality man making quality movies.

This reminded me of I ought to watch Flight again. It's on Netflix!

Greatest of his generation, and a potential for GOAT, no question about it.

My favourite performance is always Training Day. He's always good in everything, but the extra layer he brought to Alonzo elevated that entire movie onto another level. Re-watching it, I always find a new moment where you can see the cogs turning. That smile in the car when Hoyt says "I will do whatever you tell me to", where you can see he thinks his master plan is golden and that he's got it all figured out. The look when he's holding the shotgun in his apartment in the final act, knowing he's got the situation in his favour and he can still make it work, even if it gets messy. Scene after scene of it all adding up. Truly amazing work.

He has such a good run until The Equalizer 2, and it the first sequel he done and all. Such a pity he tainted one of the best Hollywood runs, near flawless.

Complete legend and definitely one of my favorite actors. He also seems like an actual good dude.

I have always been annoyed that he either plays a law enforcement officer, politician, criminal, coach, or some combination of the four.
He is great, but man. I just want to see him build a cabin, or start a snow globe company.

I enjoy his personality, good actor, but I can probably only sit through maybe 25 percent of the movies he's chosen to be in. Philadelphia is probably one of the best things he's done.
