So what happens if I downloaded to an account that does not have PS+ but do have an account on the system that has Plus?? Can I play on the Plus (or non plus) account or does the Plus account have to be the owner of the beta?

The beta should pop up for every local account as it is on the PS4.

So yes, if you download from Hong Kong, then switch to your other one with + it should work.

it's playstation function, once you have a plus account and set this console primary, other account on this console can play online co-op on this console

This is how it is on Destiny 1. My brother doesn't have PS+ but he can play with others in public zones, lobbies, and story missions. Just not strikes or crucible.

Yeah, generally the Destiny servers have been rock solid. Rise of Iron was an exception when that launched.

Are they finally using the whole bar for each individual weapon class now? Having min impact auto rifles and things like that having a 2 on a bar out of 100 was dumb. And max impact things never actually hitting 100, even on things like Sniper Rifles where max impact was in the 40s or something.

This isn't the impression that was given by people who got to play the beta early at that event.

They were getting drops and engrams (Which self decoded without needing the Cryptarch) and were able to customise load outs.

I'd be amazed if there were no drops in the beta tbh. That's like the defining part of Destiny, even if it is the beta. I remember people getting Exotic drops in the Destiny 1 alpha/beta, was a mystical time.

It's a beta so if they fail for 4 hours, that's the idea. Of course the internet will melt if that happens

I mean, when you play load out you just can't switch your weapon right? But you can change the perk, you can get drops and loots.

Still not clear on what you're saying - all I said was that you're wrong about the beta being load out only. You will be getting loot and are able to change your equipment.
