I'm getting errors trying to join Neogaf [GAF] it look like Bungie.net is down i guess.
I'm on PS4, basically brand new to Destiny, and want to join a clan. I am in NA (TN) central time zones. any recommendations?? Also, am i to join the clan i listed above AND another clan? Is there like a master clan and then smaller ones or something for GAF? Sorry for the questions i feel like a kindergartner lol. Thanks for any help and I'm really looking forward to playing with other people instead of my normal solo routine in games.

You could always join my clan when the site is back up. It's mainly EST but that's only an hour difference. There is no master clan, but just a bunch of clans for gaf members.

Since this thread became more than about the news of clans going live as originally intended and ended up as a sort of a hub for clan information that was linked in the OT I asked a mod to rename it (thank you) and updated the OP to make things like the Full Clan Spreadsheet front and center.

So i got discord earlier and got it uhh running i guess will i need that? do i need anything else or do i just play at 11 tonight and chat with the clan on discord/companion app etc?I have a clan "lndigo League" that other PS4 players are free to join.

Kinda, you can use discord to find more gaffers to play with, along with our clan and the dgaf thread. Just make sure you pick a role in discord or you will be booted. There should be instructions on discord. Anything else? Just have fun, be happy you don't have to wait until tomorrow night to play. Also, we love to raid, so be up for that.
cool thanks. i haven't raided since WOW days but did do some back then. and i only played destiny 1 solo for a few hours and tend to avoid FPS. this will be new for me in many ways but i have a feeling playing with ppl will make it way more fun for this game

I can't tell on mobile (won't let me scroll down and see) but I think I'm close to NeoGAF hitting 100 slots now. Can't check on pc but it must be around 85 ish or slightly more by now.

1. My timezone is GMT+2.5 and as such should dictate which clans I should look to for membership?
2. How frequently am I expected to participate (I will be working offshore in a few months time and will be away for months at a time + I have over 50 games in backlog
)?
3. Can I apply for it even though my PS4 Pro will not be getting here prior to 19th of September?

If we already are part of the dgaf clans from destiny 1 do they carry over? When I try and join it just says dgaf is full.

So I'll be playing on both PS4 and PC. Is there any clan that's comprised heavily of double dippers? I'm on east coast USA.
