To anybody worried about a "gjallarhorn" situation arising with Xur again the first week - don't forget that the first month and a half of Xur inventory will probably be repeated after the PC release happens, in order to give that player base a chance at the same items

You think they will just repeat the content from launch month? Would be a lot of annoyed console players if that happened.
Then again this is Xur, still haven't got transversive steps from that swine.
Hell I've ditched in 100+ exotic leg engrams and still not got them.

Just enjoy it, don't speed run it and if you want to go somewhere random because you can then do it.

Maybe not immediately and maybe not in the same order, but there's no better way to piss of an entire platform's player base than to sell a god tier exotic before they can even play the game.

I just pre-ordered a digtial deluxe edition a little bit ago. The order said I should get the email with instructions within one hour, but we'll see. Kinda defeats the purpose of the digital edition order if I can't pre-download it early, may as well have just gotten the physical copy.

Sentinel Titan is exactly what I wanted out of the class. Still has bubble shield for defensive situations, but now has a roaming version of the super for Crucible and general mop-up duty.

Yeah, I feel the Sentinel is a much better class than the Defender was.

That said... my heart has always been with the Striker, and they just got a lot cooler. They even built the love of my life - the Armamentarium - essentially straight into the Striker class by giving them a second grenade baseline. Flashbangs are life.

Since the end of year one they’ve put in a lot of work fixing rng and exotic drops. I don’t see them going backwards in this regard

There might be class specific exotic weapons that you can't use with other classes. There were a few in Destiny 1.

I was about to brofist you for dissing the floofing about class, then the Hunter line. Nope.

I'm nervous about Hunters in D2, that's for sure. But I couldn't stand playing as a Titan or Warlock in Destiny.

This isn't going to happen man haha. They're just going to keep it going as usual. It sucks that that PC has to wait but they aren't going to just reset Xur's inventory and just for them.
