People read hilariously deep into trailers. Are you really thinking they're removing helmets or something and this trailer was a clue as to that? Or is it just more cinematic if you can see people's faces?

Huge fan of Destiny here: I won't pick Destiny 2 at all. The franchise is basically dead for me now. Had fun while it lasted these past 3 years. Good luck for anyone staying. I hope you guys don't need to spend over $250 for the full experience like I had to.

So you paid 60 dollars expecting the game to hold you for three years? I've paid 60 for a game that I finished in 10 hours and never went back to. Destiny was advertised as an mmo that would be supported as an mmo, so if you didn't expect to have to pay more money for additional content, that's on you, welcome to mmo gaming.

I am as in for this as anyone with all my time in Destiny. My hype was real before any of the announcements and will be real until i get my hands on this (hopefully) open world ridiculousness that lets me murder some Cabal nozzle FINALLY

But that trailer was excruciatingly meh...

Should have been all Cayde and had more of their story hinted at. That split tone stuff did not land like I think they were hoping.

The "funny guy" isn't funny. Like the writers were trying to do the most generic humour and failed at that

Most games similar in nature to destiny have toggles for stuff like helmet and cloaks. I'd honestly be surprised if there's isn't some kind of toggle for it in D2

Shady value proposition for players. Bungie/Activision made millions. That's the only value proposition they care about. They'd be insane not to go that route again.

I would assume that it would be linked to you're Bungie account so if you use the same account on PC, there's no reason it wouldn't unlock for you.

Trials of Osiris is a PvP mode but the in-game character Osiris ( whose symbol is used for Trials ) is tied to the Vanguard, Speaker, and Traveler. It'll likely flesh out the PvP mode but I doubt that's the only thing there, it's likely you track him down and meet him. He was deep into the 'why do we fight for the Traveler' mantra and studied the Vex quite a lot.

As I said before that's not what I meant with my comment. I was ok with buying DLC for this game and I was really excited. I didn't like their price for what little they had to offer though. That's just my opinion. I've gotten much bigger DLCs that costed way less for other games. I still got them all but I can't stand that anymore for Destiny 2. I might jump back in on Year 3 with all DLCs included for the same $60.

Not at all. Just amused at people mining for clues everywhere. Destiny has managed to cultivate a ridiculously invested fanbase, in a positive way. People are already so hype. I hope it lives up to expectations.

Lol they recorded these lines probably around the same time as the lines for the actual game. All three actors (Fillion, Reddick, and Torres) have come back multiple times for content drops in Destiny 1. Even some of the other NPCs have recorded a handful of lines here and there.

How this is a waste, I have no idea. It fits her personality and her being a Warlock.

How does one line fit Ikora's personality? Like at all? She's quite intelligent, analytical, and outspoken and this is shown in every interaction with her, in cutscenes and lore. But she doesn't drop one-liners like Cayde or bark orders like Zevala so therefore she gets a single line? Horseshit.

Iron Banner was PvP till they fleshed out their story with a campaign DLC. It'll be similar, as the Osiris faction plays a big part in Destiny lore as well.
