Destiny 2 Steam player count collapses by over 80% since latest DLC launch

Game's fucking dead the moment they made Osiris and Saint-14 gay couple.

Didn't bother me the first time. Then they made like two more seasons where the basic plot point was "hey look they're gay!" I got very fucking annoyed.

Is it dying? I have no point of perspective on the relative importance of these content releases, but its user count seems pretty regularly predictable going off its steam stats:

It's dropped some but that's comparatively to a relative high, not so much its long-term trend for its player base. Which is still down, yes, but not by 80%. Seems like it's gradually dipping as you'd expect any older game would.

Meh, they'll all be back. The entire Destiny experience is designed around hoping things get better instead of quitting and admitting you've been duped into playing a shit game for 10 years

No they won't. The player base is shrinking with every release now. Not many games recover once the downturn kicks in.

Fuck no,havent tuched it since final shape. And the trend is that alot more did and do the same.

Edge of fate did around 150k ccu on steam on release day, a crazy drop from past dlc:s. Ashes of iron hardly bet 60k a couple of weeks ago(not a dlc but something that normaly would be a big thing).

Imagine the Star wars dlc doing around edge of fate numbers again and then drop of day 2 again.....oooof. They fired folks not along time ago, now the numbers ar horrific for real, there will be consequences
