I wouldn't think so, but just to be safe, you could download the US version during some downtime and play that. Keys are gonna be flying around like passenger pigeons up in heeyah

thanks, ya i have a beta code already and put it in to bungie.net just didnt want to wait around to DL it and miss some playing time. But if i get the dl code early enough before 1pm (my time tom) then ill probably just dl that instead. Just wasnt sure when exactly the codes would be sent out, so figured id do it the way i did so i dont miss time playing, bc im going away for the weekend for a bachelor party so im missing fri,sat,sun of playing and mon/tues its down, so im pretty bummed about that

I think you have to take it to gamestop and they will give you a demo disc. Make sure to get there as early as possible the lines are long already.

It should be available at 10am PDT through PSN, you should see it in your Download List already (either on the console or the SEN website) but Destiny shows as "Waiting". You won't get a download code or anything if you preordered digitally through PSN, everyone else will get codes emailed to them starting at the same 10am time.

EDIT: wait no, the actual game shows already in the download list as "waiting" for the September release. The beta will show up tomorrow at the appropriate time.

Haha, back before my account got approved here, I was lurking HaloGAF and was able to catch that Gamestop manager thing to snag an early code for myself and a friend. We were both scrambling to make new accounts to get more codes for the rest of our group when the program got shut down.
