You sure? I let it do the quick download, chilled about on BF4 for about 5 minutes, came off, started the client and it had downloaded nothing. Now it's downloading at a fairly steady speed :/

So, I've "solved" error code CE-34632-8 (although, it's not really a solution).
I did the preorder on EU PSN (and I didn't cancel it). Downloaded the game and the beta which comes with that preorder simply didn't work.
I deleted it, and instead, I redeemed one of the 3 keys I got from Bungie. After the small file finished downloading, I've managed to enter the game completely error free and now it's sitting on "Installing Destiny" screen, downloading the rest of the game.
So, Bungie's codes work.
EU PSN preorder/preload (which doesn't require any code) doesn't work (at least not for me).

I restarted once my install came to a crawl. Didn't make any difference. Must be due to high traffic.

This has probably already been asked, but I redeemed one of my codes via Sony's online web store. Told it to download the beta to my system, and it got stuck in a WAITING loop.
I just now booted up my PS4, went to my download list, and it's there (complete with download arrow in the box). But when I click the box and open it up, there's no option to download anything. Everything is black (except for a notification saying a friend played the beta an hour ago).
Any idea what I need to do here?

My guess is the bit of extra chop could just be due to the servers getting hammered...or my hope is.
For PS4 version, you need PS+ for PvP and Strikes. You can play Story missions and explore without PS+ just fine, though.

Might have not been the issue, because it's still stuck at 75%. Hope I don't have to restart it. I'd blame it on server's being hammered, but that was the case when I started it and things were chugging along slowly but surely.
And I'm aware of that, but I didn't know how that worked exactly since it's an in-app process and not the typical PSN download. Didn't want to run into the issue that it looks like I may now have.
I noticed a lot of drops.
Haven't played the alpha so i can't compare but it looks like the issue shinobi was talking about which is supposed to be taken care of for the final game.

First thing that sticks out in my mind is the Motion Blur when rotating the camera.
It's like Killzone and I'm seriously getting a headache from it.
I hope they fix that before release because it's really distracting from the gameplay.

It's very noticeable unfortunately. I rather have the smoother framerate than any extra lighting or texture upgrades.

Was there a PS4 patch today to coincide with the Beta?
I only ask because I finally got into the Sony web store to start the download, but its listed in my queue as "waiting".
This seems to happen with just about any new game I try to install while I'm at work. I'll get home and find that there's a PS4 update waiting for my approval ahead of it in queue. Which of course makes the whole idea of downloading stuff like this in the background or while at work pretty moot.
Or is something else up?

Gold is likely required for anything Destiny-related, just like Titanfall and ESO.
Holy shit @ the second mission boss on hard difficulty. It's been a long time since I've had to struggle so much with everything at my disposal. I really like a good challenge and this is exactly what I hoped for.
The enemy AI is ruthless. I'm always so surprised when they come rushing at you while you're trying to regain your HP.

This game is so good. Crucible gives me a feelin I haven't felt since Halo 2... Having said that, I echo IGN's sentiments that the tank is way too overpowered on the Moon map.
I jumped on top of the building after pressing activate and nothing happened?
