Has Sony finally knocked off with all those "Only on Playstation" junk and whatnot on the covers? Considering this game has exclusive content.

I thought it just had exclusive DLC or times exclusive DLC on playstation? I'm pretty sure it's coming to other platforms.

I much preferred the original cover, or placeholder whatever.

I suppose it wouldn't appeal to the dudebro guys who pick up Call of Duty because a guy has facepaint and a gun on the front. I mean the title doesn't even stand out quite right, like it isn't immediately clear to read due to the clashing of colours in some areas.

Bungie needed to be independent from MS. They were done with Master Chief, and had a bold vision of something completely different.

It's beautiful art, but it won't sell copies to people who don't know what the game is. And for those of us complaining about boxart a year before release, it's not something that will sway our purchase decisions either way.

Not a huge fan, only because the rear helmet design almost makes it look like the character could be facing us instead of facing away. If they just sorted that, it wouldn't be too bad, but the placeholder box art was much better imo.

You know the Exorcist with that girl who turns her head all the way backwards. Thats all I see. There's a gif that would suit this post perfectly but I cant find it. I know its the back of the helmet that's showing but it looks way too much like a Halo visor.

I would love something like this for a CE. I'm guessing this was a business decision by suits to make the boxart more appealing, but Bungie will make up for it by releasing an awesome CE edition.

I usually buy my games because of the game inside and not the cover, but if your not happy about it, you can just print your own.

I like it. I guess I am the only one here? But yeah, the placeholder was better. Anyway, it didn't say anything about the game, so they had to change it somehow. The first look of a game in a shelf is a still important one I guess.
