Destiny on PC is a game changer

All this complaining about input devices from pc players makes me hesitant to commit to that version. If they kneecap controllers like blizzard did with overwatch pc I'll just refund the game. Thankfully it seems Bungie so far put value into being inclusive to pad players. MK will always be the vastly superior device guys, AA or not. Also xim on pc is just a scare tactics meme. In practice emulating analog control with a mouse feels terrible, especially on turn speed and input lag. Raw mouse is the best input.

Let me play on PC with my friends on both PS4 and Xbox.

A single Destiny profile with saves that work everywhere.

Then the game will truly have changed.

I'd even buy more than one copy of the game if true crossplay was supported.

Would never work due to the advantages PC players have with uncapped framerates, FOV options, etc.

Y'know, I did think the thread was hyperbole but I loved playing it on PC when I just didn't on the PS4 beta.

I do have a couple of friends who play it on PS4, but fuck it, I'll make new friends
and join them when it's less than £20 on PS4 too.

I'm in the same boat, it's been touted since day one that 'controller on PC will feel just like console', so any form of changing that feel is a massive betrayal of (what seems to be) a decent chunk of the PC D2 playerbase.

I have KB+M, but I want to play this on my couch with my Elite: don't listen to the Xim scare crowd Bungle, don't you dare lol.

explain me what is so fun and rewarding about hitting targets with help, pls...

You obviously didn't play Destiny then...that's what made the feel of the gunplay so amazing on controller: the Destiny patented AA.

I'm so close to getting a gaming PC, I just need to find a new apartment first. After I've moved I'm going all in. Returning to PC-gaming after 13 years, haha.

PC is getting so much support nowadays that it's tempting enough.

having AA is one of the reasons i don't play Destiny. i just want to undertand why one see having AA as a good thing when talking about skill...

A scrub will be a scrub. AA or no AA. AA is there to compensate for the lack of accuracy when using controllers. But hitting the target is not everything. Positioning and movement are equally important.

Yes, you need to be skilled with a controller. Specially against keyboard/mouse users.

Unfortunately the uproar will be so huge i bet bungie will disable AA in pvp.

with AA a non scrub can't tell if he can hit the target without help, because, well, he will never hit a target without help ;)
