It's just all the advertising, same for CoD on Xbox. Everyone just felt Bungie is ignoring the fan base that "made them who they are."

Unless raids start requiring more than 125 team members. Then we definitely made the wrong call. If not, though, we're more than okay.
It's going to be weird when it unlocks in a year. Unless they throw it in with other expansion materials, it's going to be like - oh, woo, we finally have this old map and strike right when the first comet expansion is (hopefully) coming out.
Just a silly long exclusivity period.

I can't wait to try the different PVP modes. I really loved the map Blind Watch on Mars but I didn't think control was the best for this map.

Just how they were described in the leaked timetable from the court documents. Although they might use comets so as to save the rest of the solar system for Destiny 2 and 3.

without traditional weapon drops and map control, i can see control taking over as my favorite game mode. pure team death match will be kind of halo 4-ish

I was part of that fanbase, bought every single halo game and played all of them for years. I was happy Bungie wanted to move on to new IP. I had no interest in them being a Halo factory anymore. I bought a PS4 so I don't feel like they ignored me or their fan base. End rant. Don't want to derail this thread.

By that token, can't you say Bungie gave everyone a heads up well before both consoles launched that Destiny was having PS4 exclusive items? I mean at that point it's on the "fanbase that made them" to make a choice.

Decided to give sports games a miss till the new year so just bought the digital guardian edition on the xb1. Hoping Bungie deliver the goods on a great story and can't wait to dive in.

I got a XBO and I still don't feel slighted. It's just the way of business. I'm happy they got to make the game they wanted how they wanted. I'm just happy I can play it just as dopely as any other version.

It's a game. If I was more invested, I might not buy/play as an Xbox One user. But it looks great, the beta hooked me, and there is fuck all else to play right now. The timing is really, really great for this release.

It was fun to camp with shotguns at B but it was not fun when the other team was doing it.
Edit: I think Rusted Lands is my favorite map so far for control, with Venus a close second, Mars third and the Moon in last place.

Of course you can say that, it wasn't really shock when this was basically announced at the ps4 reveal I believe. I was just stating what the general consensus was about Destiny being prominent on Playstation platforms here and outside of GAF.

Iron Crucible it was impossible to camp in there. Hunters would just zoom by with their special and destroy.
Don't even get me started on Warlocks. Unless you hit them midair with the shotgun or have a titan close by, it's basically an instant kill.
Edit: That moon map. I do not like.
