Feel bad for him but this was super super funny, especially since I called it 30 mins before it happened...


For those who don't get the reference, Unstable has been trying for 16+ weeks, on all 3 characters to get the Black Hammer to drop but to no avail.

He was sherpa'ing a twitch viewer who's back to Destiny after a long time and doing Crota for the very first time.

Guess who got the black hammer?

Nope, I'm in the same boat. Killed Skolas last week on my Titan with full bounties, Variks has the quest but I can't press A to continue. Best Skolas 3 times this week, including my Titan, no Elder Cipher. Bollocks.

I believe there is a thread on Bungie.Net that they have acknowledged. No word on a fix though.

Black Hammer is a very solid PvP Sniper an top of obvious PvE utility.

My Benevolence rolled SLR 10 instead of Shortgaze. So far I'm happy with the scope. My dailies had a lot of Hunter Swarm nades :\

Yep, it sucks. I can usually get 3x Nightfall, 3x Weekly and 1 to 3 raids done in that night. (1 Full raid and 2x boss cp's). Change that to 1 to 3 PoE now. Have to find productive groups to get that done.

Xur isn't a problem because I can sneak on for 5 minutes to buy shit and log off.

IB is a problem. I play in the wee hours of the night and sneak a few matches in here and there, but it sucks. I have never gotten rank 5. Last week I got my Hunter to rank 4.5 and was just a few matches from Rank 5 on Monday night and couldn't manage to get them in due to Wife conflict. Wish I could find time for Trials too. Gear looks awesome. Oh well.

How does accuracy affect snipers? I assume accuracy just means how strong the target marker bloom is. Seems like it would be useless (send it on Queenbreaker's Bow).

Finally got my first elemental primary from Skolas, unfortunately it was an arc auto rifle, the Wolfslayer's Claw II ... and I had already gotten an arc auto rifle from ToO earlier.

Would love another void primary.
