wow.. that was about as anticlimatic as fucking E3.
Exotic engrams decrypt into random classes anyways. Even if you opened them as a Warlock you'd get something. If you're asking why offer something that literally offers nothing for an entire class....I wouldn't really mind to be honest. Chest engrams have been sold often and those favor Warlocks disproportionately anyways.

Well, I didn't have Third Man lol.
Tried 3 chest engrams and got the Hunter Lupi, Titan Lupi, and a Praxic Fire roll worse than my current one from launch. Oh well, Hunter Lupi was the last exotic chest I needed so 1 in 3 not bad.

There has to be some sort of weighting system in place for exotics you don't have the less exotics you're missing. Has to be. My friend bought 40, yes 40 engrams last week, and 8 this week. No Purifier Robes. The odds of not getting even one is just ridiculous to me. There are only 8 chests.
It's always Strength only on the Light Beyond. All exotics always have the same stat roll, just higher or lower at random. 136 is the highest you can roll on an exotic Helmet, currently.

I'd love that, but at the same time I think it'd be a mistake to sell 3 new things at the same time. Consider this:
- Upgrading armor used to be a hassle. So many bubbles, it took a long ass time so a lot of stuff got stored and forgotten.
- When TDB came out, some players who joined later in the game or who went a long time with one character were still missing a lot of Vanilla exotics
- We're several months away from any new content dropping
Contrast this to the current scenario. HoW exotics come at 42 Light and have a grand total of 3 upgrade nodes to fill in. 2 for boots. You can upgrade these in a day with some bounties. Moreover, the vast majority of us already have all the vanilla and TDB exotics except maybe 1 or 2.
If Xur just bombed us with all the DLC stuff, we'll have nothing new to look for and nothing to upgrade way too soon. HoW fatigue will kick in too long before Comet, and that wouldn't be a good thing.
I think 1 HoW exotic per week would be a good compromise. It'd take 8 weeks, or around 2 months for it to be all sold. By the time a new one is sold, the old one will have been upgraded, and by the time you're Pokedexed (let's say August ignoring potential NF/chest drops) Comet will be roughly a month away.

I was so occupied with gambling on exotic engrams that I forgot to buy the Nothing Manacles
At least I got the Feedback Fence, Khepri's Sting, Celestial Nighthawk and the Ram out of the engrams. Recently found the Eternal Warrior in a NF. Might go for the Purifier Robes if I can find enough motes.

Yeah I bought only a few engrams last week and got 2 purifier robes. That some people are buying DOZENS and not getting them is baffling to me. Then again, I bought 35 Helmet engrams and 22 Gauntlet engrams and I was never able to get the Celestial Nighthawk or the ACD/0 Feedback Fence. Craziness.

Haha, I'd been saving my Shards, Energies, Coins, and Motes for months in anticipation of House of Wolves. Almost all gone now, though I'm slowly building the collection back up again.
Only time I ever do Dailies is if I'm levelling a new weapon or armour, which is pretty rare these days. I usually do Nightfall X3 and at least one Weekly Heroic per week. Since HoW, I've done Trials and Prison a lot. The amount of loot from both of those is astounding. Before HoW, I mostly did the two Raids on a weekly basis on Hard. I almost never play Crucible unless it's Iron Banner, or Trials lately.
