Fulcrum is good, use it until you get your fate bringer from templar (VoG)
keep doing "Vanguard dragon strikes and Raids for better legendary/exotics
variks (reef) bring lvl 34 boots sometimes. but not this week.

That's the way I am with Shadow Price. Is upgraded to 365 and I still bring it out in crucible (even though it doesn't work with the meta). I hope the new auto rifle buff allows it to be more relevant in pvp.

Best legendary machine gun: BTRD
Best scout rifle: well-rolled Salvation State
Best sniper: well-rolled Benevolence for most purposes (LGH excellent too for 6v6) unless you were lucky enough to keep Her Supremacy with good roll
Best rocket launcher: Ash Factory is as good as R. Fury, tied at top
Best Pulse Rifle: Hopscotch Pilgrim

Honestly there's veeeeery little stuff from vanilla worth keeping beyond sentimentality. Fatebringer, VoC, Found Verdict. Pretty sure that's it.

Yeah I really like my Matador, LGH and Salvation State.

I have no data to back it up, but I have been told by 3 people I play with regularly that lowering your level with shit gear seems to make the drop rate go up.

The reasoning behind this is that lower levels get more common drops. But seeing as its not a drop i highly doubt it.
