Absolutely. The best content that's been released so far is still in vanilla Destiny (Vault of Glass raid). Unfortunately there aren't many last-gen players around here so finding people to group up for the raid might be tough.

Be sure to check out the links in the OP for other websites you can use to find groups to do the raid. Once you hit at least Lv26 (ideally Lv28) you are ready for the normal mode raid.

Awesome, try to hit up destinylfg.net or the reddit fireteams 100 websites. I've never tried the reddit one, but LFG.net can be hit or miss with teams being very demanding of the people they let join (i.e. must be Lv30 for normal raid, even though that doesn't matter).

Anyway, if you eventually get a PS4 you can transfer your characters directly and you'll have a lot more luck finding groups around here.
