YO, you destroy lets say one raid weapon to give your beloved xyz legendary an attack boost so it's viable again

99% good stuff in the reveal. I don't like that some exotics aren't being brought forward to year 2 (yet - if ever). I understand Bungie wanting to correct imbalances in the system but in my mind Exotics are special and should always have a place in the game.

If you break them down during TTK you get Legendary Marks

Reforging is out. Totally makes sense. Really made balancing weapons impossible when certain combos were so far out of line with the rest of weapons in that class.

That's what I got out of it. Only some exotics can be upgraded. The others will stay at their current attack level and basically just become collector's items.

If you wait until 9/15 you'll get marks for them is the only reason, I believe.

the capped and re-earn marks is something I'm not looking forward to. Brings back memories of chest farming for materials
