It's an old-school breakout-type game that came out for the GameGear but Starfish have remade it for the DS. Due out in April in Japan.

Well, that's some shit. Thanks for the link and the info! I totally missed that. Announced earlier today or last night, perhaps?

The GBA started off rather strong with RPGs, but has almost totally dried up in recent years. I won't mind seeing a resurgence of RPGs on the DS instead.

This game will RULE with a touch screen. Holy cow, this is awesome. I loved Devilish (I only played it on Genesis).

Genki handled the Game Gear version iirc. So Starfish is doing the DS game?

Well, okay, this is strange, and not how I first understood it. The GG game came out only in Japan, in 1991. The MD game was called "Bad Omen" in Japan and "Devilish" in the States, and came out in '92. So, this is going to be a remake of the original game after all. The ball leaves a trail behind it like in the GG version. Interesting how they've got the paddles on on each screen.

I will buy this for the Sakimoto soundtrack alone. Even the GG version's is awesome. And my mistake: Sakimoto did do the soundtrack for both games.
