I really want to know how often these "waves" are and what the size of them are, because it seems they're only letting in tens of people a day, if at all.

It seems like they're just flagging accounts for the beta instead of sending out e-mails. This means people need to log into their battle net account then go into settings and see if its on the list like it was for you.

Still waiting for my invite :\

Man, you got me excited. Had to log in and check for myself. Nothing yet. My Frostmourne tattoo isn't helping me as far as key begging goes. If anyone wants to make my day...Will send pictures of said tattoo.
 
I for one will be giving away my beta (if I get one on another account) to a bro here :D

Fake edit: also it would be awesome if we'd share this account (is this even legal?). Hazaro, Corky and Pete share same account, maybe? Also ♥ ToyMachine228 ♥ you know I like you too.

Blizzard won't like it, but they have to catch you first. They may very well have an automatic system in place that detects location differences in bnet access and ban them. Worth the risk? I certainly wouldn't ask anyone to take said risk.

It's against the ToS to share battle.net accounts. If they bother to look into it, they could remove the beta from that account, or worse.
 
Ahh, that's very boring Blizzard :(.

edit. Will probably share it anyway. Fuck it. We're all Diablo-fans.

With school and Dark Souls, I'm actually glad I didn't get into the beta. If I did, I would feel obligated to play due to the privilege and school would suffer for it.
 
I logged in a bit groggy after a nap, and I saw the icon for Diablo II on my battle.net account thinking it was Diablo 3. I nearly shit myself, now I am gently weeping.

Don't stop checking your account. The invites don't go out all at once per wave, they slowly trickle out. People are still getting in.
 
Watching a SCII-stream (Maximusblack) and he just said he got invited to the D3 beta (he's in Canada). Seems they're sending them left and right now :)!
 
Any word on Beta invites going out to those on Mac's as well? I know the game is getting a same-day release for both platforms, but I haven't heard anything as far as if the beta is exclusive to windows or not.
 
Looking at the skill calculator again, the barbarian has a skill combo that is on par, or possibly better than chain lightning:

Weapon Throw + Ricochet Indigo Rune + Weapon Throw passive boost

Thank you guys, I still hope you will get there too!

I can't honestly wait to get home and try it! I am so prepared with the downloaded beta client from pages back and it is fully up to date, so what is keeping me from playing is just work and the way home.

Btw the mail was received on 0629 this morning, not even hour ago.

This will be pain.
