Me too! I was one of the "flagged" people. I just got back from work and it was supposed to be my bed time, but I don't think I'll be sleeping.

Note that I did NOT get an email. It just showed up on my account like so http://i.imgur.com/bVT0U.png . So if you're flagged, don't bother with email. Check your account directly.

No email here either... but logged into my Bnet accounts page and there it is. I'm sure I was flagged by the same kind soul as well.

when was the last time a wave of invites went out to non-press/f&f dudes? never?
 
Bluh...been playing for a bit, but my computer is having...issues. I keep crashing and getting a blue screen of death that says something along the lines of "DRIVER IRQ LESS OR NOT EQUAL" but it seems to disappear rather quickly before I can read it all.

I just started a bit, no issues yet. How fast did yours come up?

There does seem to be a bit of issues with this build going by the bug report forum.
 
I wish I would have at least gotten flagged... At least to know that an invite is on it's way. I want this is so bad. :(
Is there anything I can do? Declare my eternal love to Diablo or anything?
 
I cannot fathom how unlucky I am with invites, or anyone else that I know in Canada.

No Dota 2 invites to anyone I know, or Diablo 3. Simply frustrating, I know Blizzard or Valve owe me nothing because of the amount of support they give their games after release. It just bums me out.

I went from wanting D3 so bad that I could barely stop refreshing my account page to not even caring now :/.

Wonder on what basis people in this thread are being flagged. It's not like I don't show my face around here.


Okay, now I feel like a whore :P. I'd contribute to the conversation, but I havent been able to test the game :(.
 
I'm in and...Today is the day I'm closing on my house and won't have internet or even a computer capable of running D3 for weeks...Bad fucking luck!

Good to see that more beta invites are going out.

I expected this beta to be of the same scale as the SC2 Beta, but so far it seems extremely limited.
 
I find it really bizarre how slow they have been adding people to the beta. It's still extremely limited, and also a very short chunk of the game. Everyone I know that's in doesn't even play it anymore. You would think they would need to consistently add people to make up for the people that keep dropping off.

Keys are only handed out through the Facebook contest right now, and they are only choosing 200 a week. The chance of someone on GAF getting one is pretty slim, and the chance someone on GAF gets one and wants to give it away is even more slim.

So what im saying is that the thread for begging for a D3 is completely useless.

If they are keeping good track of the amount of people playing at certain times and they record their data needed. Whether it be server load, server issues, etc. etc. They could model what a large release would look like.

Although I kind of expect a final server stress test like they did for WoW with the open public beta. And a lower scale RMAH test before.
 
I AM IN!

Was flagged along with the rest, EU. The "kind sould" PM'd me to ask, I said we were not in yet by and large so maybe he kicked the tires.

As for the flagging, I think he went through the thread at random, wasn't done on merit. Also, no email.
 
Argh, every time this thread gets bumped I get my hopes up. Then I get sad after checking my battle.net account page. I'm glad Skyrim is out and soon Zelda so I have something to do while waiting for the beta gods to draw my winning ticket.
 
For the first time in my LONG gaming life I have been selected to participate in a Blizzard beta without having to buy anything.
