Diablo 3 Beta [Beta withdrawal underway!]

Nothing in group 1,2,3,6,11,13,23,24,25,26,31,40,41,45,46,48,49 - don't remember which exact ones i tried, maybe I tried one or two different groups. Pfoo
 
Sorry to the dudes that got there a bit too late. There is no perfect method to distribute keys, but we tried to just overload people with possibilities. Best of luck you guys!

No worries. I just checked on this thread about 2 minutes ago. I'm not particularly concerned whether I get a key from one of these giveaways or not, even though it would be nice.

I think it's fine. At least this way you don't get 1,000 people camping every 10 minutes for 5 keys trickled over time.

Also since it's not a generator / handout they all went to someone and no one could hoard many.
 
what in the hell has just happened? I come in here and there are multiple sources with piles of codes that have just been laying around unused?

Of course I'm late, but I did log onto battle.net just to try a random code and discover d3 Beta is in my account....was there another huge floodgate of beta keys opened recently?

Tried to use a battle net D3 beta code and found out I was just taken in the beta :O

Really, battle net down for manteinance... what is this a conspiration? The wait is killing me

I added my old Diablo 2 CD key months ago and Blizzard still ain't giving any love. WHAT MUST BE DONE?!

Maybe I'll play some Diablo 2, actually. Hmm...

It's not just a matter of having a game registered, you also have to go through the menus to find the beta availability stuff and run a program that checks your system specs.
 
Congrats to all the new guys who just got in. Have fun and feel free to join us here as we continue to bitch about the game or defend it. Lol. :D
 
Since, as far as I've experienced, the friends lists are still kinda fucked up, we should probably set some times to play together so that we can get some 4-player games going.

Oh I've already done that. And I was half-joking - I dunno if the games you have registered or accounts running have any real impact on the beta process, but it's fun to think so. :P I would assume those who have thrown more money at Blizzard over time have a leg up with beta admission, if only because they're seen as more active.

I hope they release a new batch of keys soon. I want to feel first-hand what it's like to play a non-Diablo Diablo from Blizzard! :D

Like some, been waiting for a beta invite. It's been... interesting to say the least reading up on the changes to the game, the pros and cons, etc.

Maybe next time. ;(

You are probably going to hate me for what I'm going to say, but to be honest, there is not too much content on it.

Once you reach level 13 on every hero (which is kinda repetitive after the second one) there is not much left to do

If you go for all the achievements you can probably spend a decent amount of time though. About as much as a retail console game these days :D.
 
Am I missing something or is there no way to re-size the mini-map? That thing is way too big.

I also keep getting disconnected, and it's really starting to annoy me.
 
No beta key again :(

Does it seem to anyone else that they are throwing out a ton of beta keys all at once now? I can't be the only one hoping that this is a sign of an imminent release date announcement.

I've more or less given up on the beta until they get that fixed. Trying to coordinate play without the friends lists in D3 is nearly impossible, because the chat channels are all fucked up too and you can't just create a named passworded game and tell people what the name and password are anymore like in D2.

Soon as Blizzard makes it possible to consistently play with friends again, I'll be back for the beta.
