Yes, but from what I understand they had to do with messing with the Auction House, and considering that it was from 3 patches ago when the AH was really buggy, I wouldn't worry about new ones anytime soon, and even if they are I have confidence Blizzard will be quick to patch them.

Thanks! I thought it might be something like that, but I was also getting lag whenever I leveled up and did certain attacks, so I was wondering if something else was happening.
 
Yeah, so I pre-ordered the CE today. However, the place I ordered from - going on past experiences - doesn't always get PC titles in on time. This is a pretty big release so I'm hoping they, in turn I, get it day one.

I'm disappointed with the lack of support and features they are rolling out for SC II and Diablo III. Quite frankly it is pathetic, but I'll enjoy playing the game with my friends at launch so I'll be buying it to play when servers go up.

No reason to even pre-order at all if you don't intend to get a CE. Amazon is convenient since I don't have to pay upfront, and while I might be able to walk into a local Best Buy or the like first thing on launch day and pick one up, I'd rather be guaranteed to have it, even if I have to wait until later in the day.

Some CEs it really doesn't matter though. Hell, as far as I know, there are still a couple of Skyrim CEs and a SWTOR CE sitting in the local Best Buy, at least as of last week. Bit pricier than a Blizzard CE though.
 
Blizzard CEs are individually numbered. If you want one, get it now because it will be insta-rare. Gamestop sold out of their allocation even before the release date announcement.

I was going to pre-order one from Amazon a few months ago when I got into Beta, but they were closed when I got to the page, so I had to pre-order my CE from Gamestop. Glad I did that a month ago, otherwise I wouldn't have a receipt for my copy methinks.

In Poland DIII CD-Key will cost me 40EUR, and that's a rip-off - only Blizzard games go that high here. Battle.net has it for 59.99EUR, seems to be the same price for the whole EU.


Normally I'm all over DD, I can get games for 20EUR this way.


Having said that I will be there Day 1.
 
No need to purchase directly from Blizzard, you can pre-load without it, and you're going to need to enter your key in your account to play anyway.

How do you pre-load without a Blizzard purchase? And if you're in the beta, does it overwrite your beta files?

I'm going for the physical boxed copy. It just feels right. We've waited a decade for the game... it deserves to be preserved in a glorious box with, hopefully, full-color manual.

I'm playing ASAP with the digital copy from the wow annual (lol) and then adding the CE code when amazon delivers the CE I've had on pre-order since the CE announce at blizzcon. >_>
 
Wouldn't Blizzard seriously piss off retailers if they undercut them on price? Amazon might be cheaper, but surely there are other retailers that will stick to the suggested price.
 
Hey guys. Can anyone please explain what's been added to the beta since it's initial release? I played it through as a demon hunter when it first released and beat it in about ~2 hours.

I've been itching to play it again but not if it's exactly the same. I'd rather wait till release then. But has anything been added? new quests? new areas?

anything besides fixes? a small list would be awesome! <3 thank you :)

Removed: Nephalem cube, cauldron of Jordan, scrolls of identify, scroll of companion, white mats used in crafting, pages of training to train artisans in normal, the feeling that you need to pick up every freaking white item to salvage it or selling them since the vendor value has been really reduced.

Added: dedicated potion button, dedicated town portal button, skill swap cooldown, average MF and GF between members in party, major auction house revision.

I am sure there is a ton of other stuff that I can't think of right now.


The beta plays really great right now. Combat and environment item interaction (breaking and opening things) feels excellent.
 
Hmm... can anyone try logging in and see if the servers are down?
