When I was testing I made $10.00. In California that might have well been minimum wage. I have since climbed the ladder, so I guess testing has that going for it.

I completely understand the first part. I do prefer repetitive tasks though. I don't fully hate my job, the repetition and being on a computer part is great for me. It's the rude people on the phone that gets grating. Granted, today I did help this kinder elderly woman on the phone wondering why she gets telemarket calls on her cell phone, and I let her know she was in the phone book as a business. At the end she genuinely thanked me and said, "bless your heart." So for the 500 calls I made today, I got 1 sensible decent human being to interact with lol.
I'd take that $10.00/hour with a chance of moving up the ladder at some point, plus being a part of the cog for something I genuinely have passion for.
