Looks amazing and plays great. There was some pretty bad lag last night before I finally had to quit. Got kicked and errors two times in a row trying to reconnect. Got about four or five hours of play though, level 12 sorcerer. It’sa really pretty game, lots of little details. I can’t wait to play more today.

I really hope the beta has a vram memory leak or something, because i get massive stutters in cutscenes and even in gameplay with 8gb vram and textures on high. Medium textures fixes it but the cutscenes looks awful with those textures. Please blizz fix it. Also whats up with these random 35 fps cutscenes and vista shots? Must be a bug aswell

My blue ninja Rogue. I’m always a big fan of transmogging gear. Some of the early stuff is looking good, I can’t wait to see the end game gear.
Sweet. I made a dark elf rogue named Drizzt, of course. Looking like a red ninja at the moment. Anyway, for some reason I can't upload a pic. I keep getting an upload fail. Any tips? Maybe it's too large at 3.9MB.
Edit. Nevermind. Seems that the size was the issue. I used the front facing camera on my phone and voila. I'd screenshot but I'm on console right now.

Me too because I can't stand all the stutters on my 1660ti machine and if like to be able to pick and choose where I want to play at the moment. I'm well above the specs needed and I even tried FSR 2 ultra performance. It looks and plays way better on XSX. Zero stutters. As smooth as D3 on console but wayyy prettier.
Also, why can't I use a keyboard to at least type on console? What a pain. It's 2023.

Welp, after finding Diablo IV to be such a blast I made the rounds around the inet to see what's the common consensus.
Not to be surprised in the slightest most people find it really good except the always, the same, the expected, the haters of everything that's not their beloved game, the Diablo 2 fans

this might be a stupid question but does the high res texture download make a difference (on PC)?
at first the game wanted me to download ~80GB but i downloaded only about 40GB. the textures are a muddy blurry mess up close during some scenes. it's not a deal breaker but i wish they did look clearer. is it worth downloading the extra 40GB? i'm only playing at 1440p. i'm worried because already my GPU is using ~13GB VRAM so might not be able to run higher res textures.

Cutscenes looks MUCH better with high textures altho the game stutters like hell with high textures even on a 4090 apparently so there is probably some memory leak bug

ah alright. i thought that. the game started out with about 10GB vram and creeped up to about 13-14GB. hopefully it's fixed in time for launch.

There's a known bug with high res textures, it has a memory leak problem, doesn't matter how much you love high res texture nor how beefy your PC is, after a while your game will start to stutter until crashing.
Been seeing a lot of people complaining how hard Bosses are this time around. Seems like most aren't understanding that this time around it's very important that you invest a couple of points in defensive skills and armor, it's not an afterthought like in previous Diablo games where it only matters in the very endgame when you're being one shotted.

Yep, my Rogue was squishy in some boss fights, so I picked up the Dark Shroud skill. It's great for damage reduction and looks cool as hell. I love the orbs revolving around my character.

Slashing is all about rend and bleeding. It's pretty fun, just slash them and keep going and they'll just follow you and die

Played the beta to lvl 20 to get the wolf cub pack
ended up... reasonably impressed, it certainly has its issues. But I went from a "I'm not buying this" to "ok you get my money" Will I stick around for the live service BS? No idea but I will probably finish the campaign and grind a little bit for a few months so worth the entry fee from what I have seen.

What's the live service stuff mean? I'm unfamiliar with the term.

My only complaint, and admittedly a nitpicky one, is that the UI, especially the skill bar and skill tree, has no real style and looks too mobile game-y. Everything is flat and either a primary color or the nearest complementary color and looks like the same as a dozen or so mobile or F2P games already out there.
Looking at a screenshot I took yesterday while leveling, the skill bar is just so boring.
Of course, this isn’t an issue limited to this game. They kinda did the same thing moving from Overwatch to Overwatch 2. They stripped out most of the style and replace the UI elements with flat, uninspired designs. If this is a modern design trend, could we please nip it in the bud and get back to having style and flair? I’m reminded of watching as fast food places went from having their own building styles to all being the same, boring, brown and beige box building.

I am not alone then, my sorc is lvl 20. I have tried all the skills and somehow nothing appeals to me. D2 and D3 sorc I liked a lot more as well.

. . .world boss spawn is a Daylight Savings issue. Or rather isn't. The timers were all off by an hour. Spawns in ten minutes for today.
