Slower mana regen could be a solution.
If you're in a party you can drop it to share, at least if you're in a dungeon. You can't do that. Have to actually trade. Yes it is dumb, and with "online only" DRM doesn't make a lick of sense.
I doubt they are making any changes based on feedback from the two easiest levels of the game. If people are one-shotting enemies in these higher tiers (which sound exciting as hell) then I'd say, "Yeah, there's some balancing that needs to be done." With a proper build you should be burning through low level content.
. . .I went Chained Lightning and Spear with Triple Teleport and it's just fun, but there's no way I expect to be able to do that kind of kiting on the higher levels.

dope find if you are done!
You farm him for the level 27 gear, Then you imprint it which will drop the level requirement, so you can essentially wear 430 item power gear with a item level requirement as low as 8 after imprinting a legendary affix. Extracting a lower level legendary aspect and using on the 27 piece will drop the level requirement significantly
so you can supersize your stats
That's unfortunate to hear. D3 these days requires you to grind up to pretty high greater rifts before it requires you to put any effort in your gameplay. Challenging but fun gameplay is almost a lost art these days, especially for Blizzard.I switched to vet around level 10 because normal was too easy. All it does is make bosses more spongey though. Game is still ass easy. Downed the Den Mother on Vet first try with my Barb. Heard she was a tough fight for that class too.
All they’ve said is it won’t be “pay 2 win”. Adding a respec currency isn’t altering power or giving players any advantages. It’s quite literally they kind of thing that thrives on a cash shop. Either grind your time or pay your cash. (Edit: The Premium Battle Pass is confirmed to include XP boosters, why is it so hard to imagine they’d turn around and sell respec tokens later?)I would, as they've said that's exactly not how the BP will work and someone can easily point to the numerous comments from the devs that they wouldn't do something like this.

At the Occultist in the main cityWhere do you do this imprinting thing?
If you played the world boss encounter, that is the zoom level I would like to have all the time.I get they are trying to sell cosmetics, but this zoom level is too much, especially after seeing the leaked early beta footage.
I’m a total deviant. Had so much fun this weekend I was trying to figure out how to upgrade my deluxe version on PS5 to the Ultimate. Please Blizzard add a button so I can give you $10 to not feel like I’m missing anything.
Shit. I thought everyone got the sleepy wolf boy cosmetic if they were in the beta. I need to do something to get it? What do I need to do?
The beta ends in 15 hours right? Is that enough time? I won't be able to play for another 8 hours so really I'll only have 7 hours.
Ok but does it have to be during this early access beta or can it still be earned next week?Reach character level 20.

But hey, keep on optimistically believing what Blizzard says after years of them saying one thing and then doing another in every single property they own. Any time they find a way to increase their greed, they take it.

No, progress will carry over to the next betais progress wiped for the next beta?
You can zoom in.I get they are trying to sell cosmetics, but this zoom level is too much, especially after seeing the leaked early beta footage.
Do not give this microtransaction portal with inshop-game another chance.A bit tempted to get back into Immortal.
But leveling up does make you feel stronger. By the time the beta ended I was significantly stronger than I was at level 1. Between new skills, upgraded skills and loot you still have plenty of strength progression. And you haven't even seen Paragon stuff yet. I'm not seeing any lack of progression. And, to top that off, if you want more difficulty or ease you have several tiers of content to boot. That doesn't solve the problem of a lack of feeling of progression. Leveling up should make you feel stronger, that you suggest to turn down the difficulty to get this is silly, it should be tied to leveling up.
It's a shame Diablo doesnt have stat upgrades like Elden Ring when leveling, the customisation in that game is so much superior.
Because Legendaries were the final tier of gear in Diablo 3 and they aren't in Diablo 4.In Diablo 3 a legendary would give you an insane power boost. When it outlived its usefulness, you could cube it and keep the benefit. As of right now, Legendaries in Diablo 4 seem way less impactful, for reasons I can’t quantify. There are issues under the hood that need to be addressed by devs.
You seem to lack complete understanding of how this game works. Comparing it to a singleplayer game is hilarious. In Elden Ring you run through a zone, kill the boss, and never go back, in this you'll be playing in the same areas multiple times. There is a reason WoW and ESO started scaling content. It would be dumb as hell to make a game you are expected to play for years and invalidate 99% of it so scrubs can feel "powerful" and one shot everything once they got to cap. The game you want would be a massive failure as an evolving open world multiplayer experience. It was also being completely boring to play as anything other than a singleplayer experience you play through once and then drop. Why does openworld need scaling? Elden Ring doesn't need it and plenty of others. It's a horrible mechanic.
Just do dungeons, some of them will give you an entire level and only take about 15 minutesWhat's the fastest area for powerleveling to 20? 17 and just want to get it over with.
I played two characters in the beta last weekend. First was a barb, the other one a rogue. Maybe it was due to my inexperience with the game, but I had a much harder time with the bosses with the barbarien then with the rogue. The Barbarian can only melee the bosses and that makes him so much more vulnerable to these area of effect attacks many bosses have. With the rogue you can simply focus on dodging the attacks while spamming your own attacks. Unless I have missed something (which is entirely possible), I think blizzards needs to buff the barbarian.Got Barb and Sorc to level 16, will finish during the next weekend for lvl20 Beta rewards. A small summary of 4-5 hours:
1. Diablo itch is real.
2. The story looks way more darker and a little bit more "serious".
3. I like the graphics and the art style, much darker in tone.
4. Boss battles require way more care and structure, are structured more like small 5-Man dungeon bosses in WoW (a few mechanics, nothing crazy).
I can see the sorcerer getting heavily nerfed, my first character I made was a barbarian and it took twice as long to level it up to 25 than the sorcerer did. With the sorcerer you just press a button and everything on the screen dies with the lightning attacksI played two characters in the beta last weekend. First was a barb, the other one a rogue. Same. Barb feels way more fun; but compared to him Sorc is melting faces, especially with Hydra. I will try melee Rogue next weekend, didn't play that build at all. I am thinking some WoW Rogue with shadowstep and crazy Dodge will be fun to play.I can see the sorcerer getting heavily nerfed, my first character I made was a barbarian and it took twice as long to level it up to 25 than the sorcerer did. The Barb definatley needs buffing, feels incredibly underpowered at the moment

The problem with removing the scaling is that you would be able to carry early players with a high level character and basically power level them, I think this is what Blizzard are trying to avoidThe term 'scrubs' in gaming is mostly used by angry british 16 year olds, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt.
For one, Elden Ring has co-op and pvp, just like Diablo4. Two, you seem to evaluate this is a binary option, but there are plenty of other options to help both progression and relevance of areas of the game, for example, scaling can be used for NG+.

Ends at 7PM GMT this evening7 hours of the beta left?
had to quit because i got stuck in the town area . it was like my character was running against an invisible wall.
Happened to me a bunch over the past few days, not sure if it's a server issue, get a lot of rubber banding between areas as wellhad to quit because i got stuck in the town area . it was like my character was running against an invisible wall.
ahh so this is the rubber banding?Happened to me a bunch over the past few days, not sure if it's a server issue, get a lot of rubber banding between areas as well
Usually if you try leaving the town from another entrance it worksahh so this is the rubber banding?
i was going to quit anyway. i was trying to get to lvl 10 before stopping but as i was leaving the town i got stuck. i might jump back on later this afternoon if not then i'll get to lvl 20 next weekend so i can get that lil good boy pup
It does pan back when it needs to, it only zooms in like that in the townI don’t like the zoom.
Camera needs to be panned back.
thats not very helpful if you do not like the zoom either wayIt does pan back when it needs to, it only zooms in like that in the town
